I'm definitely a micro brew man myself as well (Victory Brewing Co. -Hopdevil IPA --try it) but for a day in the 90's with a few nonbelievers you can never go wrong with light and refreshing Heineken. Bottles are a pain on the course but Heineken's Keg can is the next best thing.

The best beer is cold beer that someone else paid for because they lost a bet with you.
Having said that, if it was me, I'd try to do an assortment. Are you the one buying this time? How many people do you have to buy for? I know of at least 2 places in my area that stocks lots of microbrews, and they'll let you pick and choose singles to make up 6-packs. That would be ideal in your case.
If you have a crowd, get 2-3 different 6-packs. I'd get a lager, maybe an IPA, and a 6 of Miller or Bud if you have some traditionalists who don't like the microbrews. I'd avoid the really heavy stuff like stouts, unless you know someone who really likes them.

You like micros? Sierra Nevada Summerfest.
But when I play, I always prefer straight up Bud in a can, ICE cold, and bring a can cooler thingie.

I prefer microbrews as well, but I'd suggest something light because it's so hot, like Bud Light or Miller Light. Sam Adams Light could be a good compromise.

I save my drinking for after the round especially if there is wagering involved , and when it is all said and done I enjoy a cold Newcastle or a Crown Royal and Coke or Makers Mark Straight up MMMMMMMMMM !
Enjoy.

Cold. After that, it doesn't matter that much. Cold is the best type of beer.
