Lavender essential oil has calming effects. Valerian or chammomile tea is also good. Try getting a massage, if you can afford it; some massage schools offer discount massages done by students. I hope you feel better, and good luck with your exam!!

This is what I did before my last final one year when I was in college during finals week. I crammed, did the 3 assignments that were due before the final. Then, my roommate took me to the local amusement park. On the ride ride to the park, I couldn't stop thinking about the time I was wasting, etc. Well, we rode a bunch of fun rides, I screamed on the rides...I mean blood-shrilling yells that made me hoarse by the end of the trip...I sounded like an idiot, but by that point I didn't care. We spent 2 hours at the park and I got more out of that trip than I got out of the previous week of studying. It was SUCH a GREAT stress reliever. I highly recommend it, scream until you can't. I had gotten everything out of my system and I was able to concentrate for the remainder of my studying and for my exam. BTW: I did the best on that exam.

get away from the computer first of all. when you have some time, light a candle, put on some mozart and close the curtains. if you don't take the time to ease your stress, you could crash. many people swear by herbal tea others think chocolate helps. find what you like and go with it but, make sure you take time for yourself.

Take some brisk walks and enjoy nature! It helps me. Unfortunately, that is the only "natural" thing that helps me. I frequently turn to drugs and alcohol to relieve stress. DON'T DO THAT! IT ONLY MAKES IT WORSE!

Your stress is a mental problem because:
1) You don't know your material for the assignment.
2) Fear of failure because you don't know your material for the assignment.
3) Fear of failure creates stress.
Solution: Get cracking the material. KNOW it! Get help from someone who knows it better than you!
Focus....focus....focus!
