Ms don't want you to access Word online because that would
defeat the purpose of the extortive sum they charge for a license for it.
( you never own an MS product, only a license to be driven mad and poor by it )
Like someone else suggested, try the google thingy. Remember, though, google will have a copy of your docs for there nefarious purposes as well as you. Why not try OpenOffice? Its free and has the same kind of functional overkill and bloat as MS word.

Don't kow if this helps but they have a good online word processor

http://www.zoho.com/

Otherwise download open office (legal and free) that can handle most word documents

You can download "Open Office". It isn't quite as complete a word processor as word but it work very well.
