Kinda. I was raised without religion, and I'm not religious now. I guess that counts.

I was raised in a Methodist church, but my parents encouraged me to discover for my self. So I was raised in a Christian home and I have always believed and had a strong faith. Now that I am an adult I have joined the LDS church and feel I have always been drawn to it. Even when I was very young I felt a connection to the Book of Mormon and the Church. My mother was raised Lutheran and my father was raised Baptist (northerner) and neither felt comfortable in the others church, so they compromised to attend the Methodist Church. My brother has joined a Presbyterian church then changed to a Dutch Reformed Church (it has another name but I can't remember it).

Not entirely. I was schooled Lutheran but I no longer subscribe to any nor all organized religions. A bunch of rituals that have nothing to do with God and Jesus.

My mother's readings and views left an impression on me. She was radical. She was the one who told me about the Man Made of Metal who ate a roll or parchment and spoke.

My mother worked with computers and she found that interesting. This was LONG before speech syntheziers.

It's in the Bible.

Then there are my own personal experiences with God and the Angels who have protected me from my own stupidity more than once (and also let me fall and break my arm three times).

Well, nearly. My family was not "born again" Christians, but we lived in a small Southern town (USA). Every one was moral-even the heathens. We all had a sense of right and wrong. Now, many years later I am a Christian of the Missionary Baptist persuasion. I find that my early family life was definitely affected by the Christians living around us. The whole community was affected. It was positive. The difference now is - then I wanted to be a good person, today I have the Holy Spirit leading me to be a person God wants me to be.

No, My Parents never attended Church, both were alcoholics.

My Pastor was not either, he received Christ while in jail over 25 years ago, afterwards went to Criswell Colledge and Obtained a Masters Degree in Biblical Theology and reads and writes New testament Greek.

Yes I was raised a Catholic but, as a adult it means more to me now that I have my own children. Something about having my own family makes understanding the Bible on my own make more sense.
As my mother was a strict Catholic and knows the Bible well...she confused me a lot with her actions. (example..."Treat others as you would like to be treated"...She would talk bad about people and treat others bad but, expected people to treat her well. To a kid that tends put a lot of confusion in their minds trying to understand. )

Sort of,

I was raised Eastern Catholic (Orthodox)

however today I see Jesus Christ as a man who rebelled against his governments wishes, rebelled against taxation, rebelled against the leaders of his church who hung out at weddings making plenty of wine and people happy while not condemning the weak.

I don't see this funky image of him with glowing light behind him that is portrayed in Catholocism.

I see him a lot more humble, poor, and brawny as he was a carpenter.

The propaganda images make me sick and it is smearing the church badly.

No, my mother was raised Mormon (she is now Episcopalian) and my father was Catholic and they couldn't agree...so they used the hands off method of child rearing. They said I could choose whatever I wanted and I tried all sorts of things before I made Christianity my faith; it was the only one out of all the lifestyles I tried that made me feel good and made sense.

Well, I was baptized and confirmed because of my mom (she's catholic) but rarely went to church. My dad is an atheist.
And I'm confused, making me an agnostic (with an atheist tendency) who has a enormous respect for most religions.
