it is under r&s because I used to answer all the r&s questions
and no there is no valid reason, except apparently one of the r&s questions was an offensive one, and had the word prayer in the question, and since I answered it they suspended MY account - not the person who asked the question!!!

it just makes me kind of sad cause you do the right thing, - you play fair and you go by the rules and then you are punished.

I don't know. I look for that to happen to me. Oh, well, life goes on.

I'm on account #5 myself. My last account was suspended for no reason that I can determine. I got a violation notice that apparently offended some fundie at yahoo. I think we have some fundies that are spree reporters too. I got to violations for my best answers from months ago...still don't know why. Yet, I've read some of the most hateful, homophobic posts are here, even reporting some of them and yet they don't get deleted. I think YA! has a major homophobe working there because as soon as you mix religion and homosexuality in a question or answer that DOESN'T paint gays as evil, you're deleted and acount suspended.

I don't know but I'm one of the victims. No explanation just a notice saying my account was suspended. They make a big song and dance about you reaching level 7 then give you the boot without a thought.

That is an excellent example of why you should have a separate e-mail for answers. Far too much is hinged on one thing........e-mail. Loose it and you might loose a business.
It occurred to me the other day, they could be cutting their own throats. Some people doing business with them use their e-mails for renewal notices when they sign up for advertising. But, you can buy protection for the credit card system where they notify you of an automatic transaction, and you can stop it if you need to.
I say you shouldn't jeopardize your business by monkeying with a needed address.

the reasons are always valid - have you ever really read the terms of service? They can suspend/delete your account for sneezing if they so choose.

Who knows. I called them nazis and they didn't like it. I'm amazed at the things they don't delete. Yet they delete things that aren't mean or nasty. Say something nice and someone gets their panties in a wad and reports it. They delete it and then act like you committed mass murder or something.
Yahoo has a bunch of useless people watching over it.

There must be some reason. Perhaps abusive language.
