Yes, but the Bible says that snakes lost their legs because God got angry with them. It's likely that the writers got this idea by noticing that most reptiles have legs and presuming that snakes did once. However, it seems very unlikely that they had any concept of how evolution actually works.

Of course "evolution" is in the Bible, right after the verses regarding airplanes and before those that speak of computers, automobiles, a-bombs, canned foods, the microwave, washing machines, telephones, typewriters, clocks, eye glasses, wheelchairs, tanks, guns, the Olympics, democracy, Social Security, Medicare, mail delivery, etc., etc. Can't you read?

No it is not.
Neither is Gravity, the atomic theory, there is nothing there abouth math or geometry either.
Still it is not what the Bible is about (frankly I don't know why is this so hard for most people to understand), the Bible is about our relation with God and with ourselves, it isn't a Biology book.

Quite possibly evolution is alluded to in Genesis, when God says "let the earth bring forth", and "let the waters bring forth."

I don't think it says that snakes once had legs, tho that might be implied in the curse on the serpent - "upon thy belly shalt thou go", indicating it may have walked or flew before that. In the book of Isaiah there is a reference to a "fiery flying serpent".

No the Bible does not mention evolution. Contrary to popular belief, evolution is not scientific anyway. It takes faith to believe in evolution, because it doesn't make sense. You can't create something out of nothing. It defies the laws of physics...you can't create matter nor destroy it. Right? But something or someone who works outside of physics, time and space can.

If you really want to know the truth, look it up. Do real research. You'll see what I am talking about.

Bible talks of creation only.Snakes had legs and had them removed as a punishment for sinning.Adam had his one rib removed to make a woman for him.Evolution means changing form.Snakes have never changed form since creation.They are the same creatures as during the time of creation.as at now.

Evolution is not in the bible. That si however not the issue. The issue that most people seem to have is if evolution and the bible can be reconciled.

Biblical Evolution: Babe -> Child -> Man -> God isn't a man.
Bible defines itself as "allegory" & "mystery" to solve in time.

THINK, from the end that is declared from the beginning.
(Perhaps "let there be light" meaneth let there be grace)
THINK, from the end to endure unto that's already written:

The GRACE of our Lord Jesus Christ with you all. Amen.

You can make the Bible say anything you want it to say by carefully picking the references. It adds authority if you then say, "It is the unchanging word of God."

The people you are talking to should reply, "Praise be the word of the Lord."
