Look also at the common cold, there is a reason it cannot be cured. This is evolution my friend, this is how it works; changes occur within an organism dictated by environmental pressures.

Belief in evolution is not required when considering the amount of evidence that there is for it.

When it failed the peer reviewed testing and was shown to be a hoax, the idea was dropped and Piltdown man was regulated to the garbage heap of history. That is unless you're a creationist that brings it up all the time trying to prove something by referring to it.

You have illustrated perfectly how the system of science weeds out the hoaxes, trims the fat and evolves so that the existing theory incorporates all evidence. There is no faith in science. Piltdown man was only one example that scientists found to show evolution. Once it was found to be a mix-up, this evidence was discarded. You are ignorant to think that this one example has any affect on the validity of the theory.
