To my experience, this is what creates division, everyone claiming to be something, instead of living, and practicing it as a life style, a way of life, instead of saying it in words, which mean nothing. Truth does not have to prove itself or argue with no one, but we as people that may not understand what truth really is not, still don't get Truth don't have to defend or argue! (MIND) really thinks it's superior, cause it creates havoc inside, and we express it outwardly. Most of us wont understand truth and love until you have lost everything. And everyone come together helping one another.

A world without religion

No days off work is 24/7/365 except in Unionized nations.

There are no HOLIDAYS (the word is derived from HOLY DAY).

There is still poverty

There is still Communism (it's not a religion it's a Politico-Economic system) and there is still North Korea and there is still Iran and they still WANT NUCLEAR PROGRAMS

There are still MExican Illegal Immigrants coming into America for jobs

There are still races and man's tolerance or intolerance hasn't changed to them, as OBVIOUSLY religion has nothing to do with that concept of skin color

Thee are still middle Easterners moving into Paris and they are still rioting NOT for SURA COURTS but for JOBS which aren't available

Some middle easterners may still wear HAJIB, for that was dress and CUSTOM of the Behowins, who were NOT religous, per se.

It's a FALSE belief that MUHAMMAD or ISLAM created the HAJIB, it existed LONG BEFORE MUHAMMAD, he just enforced it harder.

Jesus wore a robe with a hood LONG before ISLAM

Women wore veils LONG before ISLAM

Some people want to keep their cultures. The Russians still wear those funny tube hats made of ermine in stead of Yankee Base Ball caps like normal people wear!

Oh and SPEAKING of the YANKEES, Boston would STILL HAVE TO FACE THE FACTS OF TRADING BABE RUTH TO THE YANKEES, even without religion!

South Africa's history wouldn't have changed much at all. The Dutch would have still gone there and still built Capetown and still held their view on Aparthied.

Hitler would have still invaded France and Poland. His war was NOT about religion but about RESTORING THE GERMAN STATE to it's original form.

So tell me about your WONDERFUL WORLD, without religion. It's not that much more wonderful.

Man is man and man rapes woman with or without religion. That is a fact of life.

Man will steal your TV set with or without religion.

That is a fact of life.

If you live in the Bronx you will still have two dead bolts on your door and there will still people people washing your windshields in the Holland Tunnel.

America would still have been a SLAVE STATE and ON THE DOWN SIDE everyone would have KEPT THE SLAVES FOREVER.

You see SOME religious factions beleived that HAD to give slaves their freedom after 7 years of service because the BIBLE SAID THEY HAD TO.

Not all, but SOME of the Puritans literally knew they HAD to let them be free in 7 years because of the LITERAL BIBLE.

See, you gain some, you lose some.

It's a give and take.

Education for the MASSES would have probably been delayed.

There is NO REASON to believe FEDUALISM would not have occured without religion.

Education started in the United States by the Christians who passed laws that all children had to be able to read the bible and learn numbers.

If Feudlism still existed. The concept of a TOP DOG or KING the masses would be kept uneducated. An educated servant, slave or serf is a danagerous person.

The Clergy established Harvard and Yale, even though Europe didn't recognize or "accredit" theses schools (hence they were not called COLLEGES originally).

Without religion we would have had to entince Oxford or the University of Paris to fund and start a school here.

Leadership is NEVER about religion, it's about who's the biggest, meanest and strongest or who's the most popualar.

Without religion there is a STRONG likelyhood that women would have been MAJORLY exploited.

I give to you two culture. The Eskimos and the American Indian.

It was TRADITIONAL for the man of the tent to give his wife to the male visitor for the vistor's PLEASURE

This leaves the door to prostitution wide open as MAN dominates woman by SHEER strength and size.

Anthropoligists still tend to agree PRIMITVES abducted his women quite frequently. He saw, he had need, he took. He's bigger, stronger, BAM!, Alice, to the MOON!

Jesus saw the ills of divorce and said it should only be done in the rarest of circumstances.

Most of our WELFARE recipents are WOMEN WITH CHILDREN AND NO SPOUSE.

MAN AT HIS WORST would STILL prevail

Without fear of a higher authority or written moral code it could be worse.

The world would have havoc either way.

Religion just makes sure that people feel justified for the atrocities that they commit.

Forget history, at present religion should be a private business, then its fine otherwise u can see how the world is divided on the basis of religion, far more than those days of Crusades and we say we are more civilized now :-)

It's not religions themselves that cause havoc as you put it. It's people who take their religious beliefs to an extreme like the Islamist suicide bombers or the methodists (?) who boycott the funerals of dead soldiers.

A world without religion would be a total disaster. Believing that God is with you is helping you and guiding you is an absolute must in this stressful and materialistic society.
