yes and then let's look at the whole "fulfill the law" statement. It was a common for rabbis to "fulfill the law" in that time. It meant 'to bring a fuller meaning' to a particular portion of the Torah. It's called a 'midrash'. Unfortunately, christians never study Judaism, even though their savior allegedly was a Jew and followed Jewish law.
They follow Paul and not Jesus. I wonder if this is really what Paul intended to have happen.
It always amazes me how ignorant christians are of their own faith, and yet they feel the need to impose it upon others.

I do know how you feel. Really. :) I was raised in a Christian environment from very young. My mom is a prayer warrior, and I heard the Word through preaching, music, and prayer everyday. My siblings and I knew the Word so well, we got bored in children's church because we had already learned all the lessons. So I grew up full of the Spirit, without having to do much on my own. When I got to be a teenager, while I had no desire to actually do the things you are describing, I was jealous a bit, just like you, that they could be "normal" while I was not. I knew He had a purpose for me, and I wasn't sure I wanted it. But I knew that God's way would give me a much happier life than if I indulged in temporary happiness. There are so many needy people out there. If we don't help, and follow His commands, who will? People like us do not have the luxury of being "normal." I know, you feel that pull. God put it in you. When I grew up and got married, I had to readjust to not having my mom around with the Word going all the time. I have never had her drive to read and pray with the intensity she does. Staying in prayer is like exercise. It can seem like a chore, but you feel so much better and cleaner once you do it. It's important that I keep my spirit uplifted in the Word. I listen to good praise music a lot, and I'll talk to Him about anything. And I've found that, as long as I make time for Him, there is peace in my home. So what I would say to you is, make the time. Find the Word and/or a good preacher on CD and just put it on while you are driving, cleaning your room. Find some praise music and do the same. Talk to God about everyday life, at any time. Because the truth is, no matter how "normal" you wish you could be, you will never have peace unless you do what God has put you here on earth to do. And you can't know that, unless you listen to what He's trying to tell you. Don't worry about your guilt. Just listen. He's already forgiven you for all that stuff anyway, the instant you asked.

Ahem....."context"!!!!!
Jesus was talking to Jews-not Christians. Jews are "still" under the Law, Christians never have been.
Paul credible?
Every book of scripture carries the same weight-its all inspired by God. Jesus did not write the gospels. Jesus used men move along by the holy spirit to write every book. Some of it is expressly for Jews, some is for Gentiles (thats everyone else). Some is for both. Learn the difference.
Right now you are confused-you don't know which way is up.

I believe you are misinterpreting and taking things out of context. The thief on the cross went to paradise, and the prophets in the old testament went to the bosom of abraham. Remember the story of the rich man and lazarus (not mary magdaline's brother, the other one)? The rich man was in torment, and he could see lazarus being in comfort. Every name written in the book of Life is going to be in heaven with the Father. Christians do not have to experience the second death, the spiritual death. This is clearly said in the Bible.

You have missed the point dear. When all you do is what is allowed by law, you are free from the Law. The Law binds those who do what is not allowed. They have every reason to fear the law enforcement agencies. In this case, you can express this fear you have, and you are right. Do something before it is too late.
Jesus will never give you the spirit of fear. Jesus gives you the easier key, just believe and accept Him, you will struggle no more. The spirit of God will dwell in YOU and by your will, allow the Holy Spirit begin to guide you in your day to day choices. You will find, you will have no reason to fear the Law, because in you, will be the power to do only what is allowed by the law hence no reason to fear God or conteplate hell. You will become the beloved child of God. You will be destined to heaven. As if this is not enough, Jesus promises even to do more for you, He will be there to defend you on judgement day and you must be sure that Jesus cannot go wrong. Dont you want to be free from the Law and move as freely as you can on earth and in heaven later? Freedom from the law starts right here on earth, the choice is yours.

During the time of the prophets, fulfilling the law was difficult, but when Jesus came, it was made easier for us all that by accepting Jesus, the law and the prophets was made complete, together with the Holy Spirit, it is now easier to not sin, to not kill another human being, to love and respect your parents and elders, to not covet, to also love God with all of your strength, mind and soul. You do not have to sacrifice animals to get forgiven because Jesus became that sacrifice. I know as long as I continue to walk faithfully before God, with Christ living in me, Heaven is for sure. Run to him while you can still breathe. A thousand days is like a single day before God and I believe Jesus has not returned yet so that someone like you can repent. Are you sure you wuld like him to come right now, the way you are?

I am sure you have something positive to bring to this Q&A, in another category maybe. As an adult with all his wisdom and experience, why do you chose to spread negativeness instead of goodness. I'm sure you're good at something, maybe you could help someone unravel a professionnal problem in the small business section, maybe you could help a student translate a text in another language if by any chance you have a second language, maybe you've been through a difficult divorce and came out of top and you could share some of that will power with others. But for goodness sake the little bit of time we have on this earth make something positive with it and let people be!

We are all going to hell. We are all sinners. However you have a basic misconception of hell. Hell is not a place of eternal torment it is the grave. The differance is that christians will be raised from hell when Yahshua returns. Those who mock will wait a bit longer before being raised and will definatly not be mocking then. After that is the second death. I'm not seeing a pitchforks and burning forever in there.
By the way brothers and sisters. He is right in one thing. Mocking God openly isn't only done with words but by our actions. Your failure to repent and recognise that you are to obey Him in all things including the sabbath, holy days, clean and unclean meat, not worshipping him after the traditions of pagan nations etc still apply to you. Every time you break them you mock God. Shame on you! Repent!

Your logic is confused, but I think it's because you've been hurt. Whatever happened to you, I'm very sorry that it did. If it was a pastor or a church member, someone who was really a Christian, or even someone who was just pretending to be a Christian, I would really like to apologize for whatever they did to hurt you. People can be incredibly cruel, and it is no fun to be on the receiving end.
If it helps at all, you can be sure that God in his wisdom has seen it all, and He is on your side. He loves you deeply just as you are. His heart is longing for you to answer his call. He offers you unconditional love and total acceptance into his family -- what else matters?
"Taste and see that the LORD is good; blessed is the man who takes refuge in him." Psalm 34:8
I pray that you will keep seeking... May the Lord bless you abundantly... May you experience the limitless love of Christ.

Satan certainly has a hold of you, so shake him free! You can shake him free! You continue to plague this forum with the same questions day in day out as if a droning numbness to the ears and eyes.
Pay Attention! Hell is hades, or sheol, the common grave for mankind. It is not a place where you roast and burn forever. Do you understand this, this time?? And no, contrary to your misguided belief, there are some that will inherit everlasting life on a paradise earth, about 10% of the world's population.
Unfortunately, about 90% will not fair so well. Where will you be? Stop asking the same questions day in and day out. It makes you look well...you know, stupid and like you're only trying to provoke hostility and vileness. Pull yourself up and pay attention!
