Isn't it histerical when someone asks something thinking they have a clue and then imacatholic2 answers them and shows them that they don't have a clue without him even intending to do so? For instance, this dude once asked, "Why doesn't the Pope shut the f... up and admit that evolution is a fact?" LOL. , then Imacatholic2 answers that the Catholic Church more than 60 years ago declared that evolution was a possibility? Did you get a kick out of these questions from clueless people thinking that they have a clue?? I do, it's completely hilarious. I couldn't stop laughing..This is genuine, I really was laughing a lot when I saw this.....It demonstrates that some of us ask questions without actually knowing any facts..., but did you laugh at this question when you saw it(if you did)?

Janet, the Catholic Church doesn't take everything in the Bible literally. They say that "Good made the earth and all was good." Catholics can believe in literal meaing w/ Adam and Eve too but it's not mandatory.

Actually I think I know the Bible pretty well and I have never seen a passage that says that "God created everything as it is."

I am a Catholic who knows that the church accepts not only creationism as a possibility but that it is perfectly acceptable for a Catholic to believe the Bible literally, as I do. But I am not so arrogant as to believe that I know exactly how God went about Creating the earth. It could have taken 7 consecutive, 24 hour days or it could have taken 7 non-consecutive, non 24 hour days for God to have created all things and evolved them over time or who knows?

To say you can know definitively how God went about creation from the evidence that we have in Scripture is reckless and arrogant(and typically American).

I also wish that the Catholics here would start acting more like Christian(Catholics) and be charitable toward the Separated Brethren here and be more like Jesus. Please read 1 Corinthians 13 verses 1-4. Thanks

Use IamCatholic2 as an example if you will, he/she comes in speaks the truth without putting anyone down and that is all.

I did not see it.
But the real funny part is that imacatholic2 openly admitted that the catholic church does not believe the Bible is the true word of God. Now she would deny that , but think about it a moment. The Bible says that God created everything as it is. Catholics say no, that we evolved. That makes the whole group heretics. Not thats funny........ Actually its not funny at all. Millions of people following a so called "Christian" religion that does not even believe in the Bible. Jesus is the Word of God. The Bible is the Word of God. Get the connection? Yes, they do use the Bible, but any part that does not agree with catholic tradition is explained away as allegory.
This is really sad. Unfortunately some have fallen into the trap that it is more 'right' to be catholic than "Christian". Then, be proud of it. This is not good.

Pastor Billy says: what is even more hysterical is when people ask questions of others for practises they themselves hold to for example take a look at my question on

"Why is it that faith alone Christians are teaching works of the law? "Catholics get wrongfully accused of by anti-catholics of "a works doctrine" and yet today I see more and more Protestant preachers teaching works of law such as to tithe 10% of your income why is that?"

Poor Janet, to be Catholic is to be fully Christian. Catholicism is not a denomination. Catholicism teaches all those who are properly baptised are also united to the Catholic Church and are in a sense Catholics themselves the Church however prays for a more perfect unity. St. Augustine when asked where to find the Christian Church he indicated the ones which call themselves Catholic.

Janet you diberately mispresent iamcatholic2. What you fail to realise is the bible is not written in an entirely literal form please explain Revelations.

Servant your remarks about Janet's color are uncalled for I agree with makemeaspark (although she thinks she is talking about me also I'm sure) be more charitable.

A lot of people ask questions that really show their bias or prejudices against a certain religion.

I don't think people like that even want to hear the truth. They would rather just keep spreading misconceptions.

But yeah, it is kinda funny :-)
