13. A person who is nice to you but rude to the waiter is not a nice person. (This is very important. Pay attention. It never fails.)

14. Your friends love you anyway.

15. Never be afraid to try something new. Remember that a lone amateur built the Ark. A large group of professionals built the Titanic.

This then would be the reason that we are united but in a way that seems like disunity, essential human need to be known individually and personally as distinctive being.

There characteristic by which everything can be defined and known into a realistic world, all things that are not defined cannot be known, and the things that are defined only in abstract terms are illusions, dreams. The concept of unity has a lot more to it then coming of all people together to form a union or a group. Unification requires a common purpose, a cause or an opposition as within its definitive principles of formation. In this sense unity is only relativistic, and it is not an absolute concept.

The concept of unity for the purpose of peace and harmony is even more so, but this is what we commonly mean when we talk about unity or brotherhood among men. The fact however is far darker than this. The fact is that human race is haplessly united not only for the purposes of peace, justice and harmony but also due to conflicts, feuds and wars. When people sense that there is disorder and chaos, they often come to gather in their groups to fight with each other. I personally have not seen any instance in human history where matters like these were resolved through implements of peace; only the matter of war are resolved with efforts for peace.

We are united, this is the fact, but the sad truth about this fact is that our unity does not fit the highest standards of its own ideal. But common undersatnding and internet access would help all.

personally, I think there's nothing that could fully unite us!! especially nowadays, it seems that people can't avoid being selfish, instead of feeling 'citizen of the world' we keep disregarding others' need.... I couldn't agree more with you at the point 13. lotta people look nice to us, but look down on some others.... some kinda animals are probably MORE polite!!!

saludos
