As long as the pictures do not depict anything Non-Islamic they are OK.
so cars are OK
But the movies should not show too much skin of the women and not depict sex in any way

did God say you couldnt have car posters up? or did man make that rule? I cant find anywhere in the Bible that it says they are not allowed. but it does say to lay aside every weight that so easly besets you. if those posters keep you from praying and reading the Word of God then yes they are wrong. if they dont get in the way of your time with God and they dont cause you to sin then they are fine. so many times men make the rules, but what does the bible say! thats why we are told to study to show ourselves aproved. dont let people lead you wrong! go to your bible and read it, study it! what does it say! we must live by that book, we will be judged by it and nothing else

answer: you asked the same thing and received accurate answers. Jews are expecting the return of Elijah before the Jewish Messiah. It does NOT refer to Jesus. It certainly does NOT refer to Mohammad. Both tried to change Judaism and claimed Judaism was wrong = those are signs of false prophets for Judaism. The age of prophets ended LONG before the Common Era. No Jesus, no Mohammad. Mohammad was VERY far from being a Moses.

Khudri (may Allaah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: “The angels do not enter a house in which there are statues or pictures.” (Narrated by Imaam Ahmad; see also Saheeh al-Jaami’, 1961).
You can replace them, if you wish, with pictures of inanimate objects, such as trees, mountains, oceans and other natural scenes, or other drawings of inanimate objects, without being extravagant or wasteful.

I would guess that American, Catholic, Jewish, Buddha, Hindu and your other enemy nations produced autos and movies are against Allah. Are posters of beheaded American soldiers that fought and died for your freedom of religion in America allowed?

why wouldnt it be allowed? Some muslims believe that having pictures of any kind can promote shirk(worshipping other than God) which goes back to the idolworshipping days....I dont know of any people that have ever worshipped pictures, posters etc.....
at any rate they are in your room why should anyone else care what you have on your walls?

fly, why do you want them?
i think that your heart reason is more important than any other thing. does the object in question lead you closer to God or lead you away from God? and only you can answer that question, by asking God to help you be honest in your heart with yourself.
as a Christian, i believe that God desires that i worship Him with all my heart. so if something gets higher than Him in my life/effort or/and i get obsessed by something that doesn't bring me closer to Him, that's unkool. but if i'm just enjoying creation and life and sharing with others, or if what i have is actually bringing me closer to Him, that's kool.
living a purpose-filled life (fulfilling life) requires thought. it's great that you are thinking, but don't just take any of our answers verbatim. use your own head and heart and, if you really care about God, ask God to help you. if you don't care about God, it doesn't matter.

I think it is probably fine as long as it does not promote immorality. My husband's family has some pictures in their home, mostly nature scenes.
