While the Muslim world consoled itself with the verses from the Qur'an:- Chapter 2(The Hiefer)
155. Be sure we shall test you with something of fear and hunger, some loss in goods or lives or the fruits (of your toil), but give glad tidings to those who patiently persevere,
156. Who say, when afflicted with calamity: "To Allah We belong, and to Him is our return":-
There is something which really amazes me.
Here are verses from the Qur'an- Chapter 19(Mary)
88. They say: "GOD((Allah)) Most Gracious has begotten a son!"
89. Indeed ye have put forth a thing most monstrous!
90. At it the skies are ready to burst, the earth to split asunder, and the mountains to fall down in utter ruin,
91. That they should invoke a son for GOD((Allah)) Most Gracious.
"They" say...... refers to Christians
...."the earth to split asunder".......... metaphorically speaking isn't this how the Tsunami Waves started?
Tsunami happening just a day after 25th December spooks me more.

Mentioning of all this in the same chapter, side by side in verses. WOW!
I'm not pointing out anything. Just want your views. Can use some open-minded views, alright. Don't start bashing me here.

its a test from God, tsunami affected my country too, no one was angry everyone just seemed calm and relaxed, it was very eerie. in some villages everything was wiped out to the ground, but oddly the only building left intact was the Mosque. Qur'an tells us this will happen, perhaps that is why people took it so calmly.

You have to ask yourself at what point would STOP being spooked. If the tsunami took place two days after Christmas, would you consider THAT a sign? What about a week? A month? Well at that point, you are ALWAYS within a month of some religious day or another.
So there is some limit to this coincidal theory of yours. But why do you think it is significant that the tsunami was a day off? If God wanted to send a sign why not ON his son's birthday.
Oh, wait, there is no theological reason to believe December 25 has anything to do with the birth date of Jesus. Wouldn't God have used Easter, a much more significant day?
What if tsunamis have taken place on Dawali? Does that mean the Hindu God is the true one?
How about a coincidence that has nothing to do with religion. That is a whole lot easier to accept.

Since I don't know the Qur'an, I can't say whether you are taking the verses from Chapter 2(The Hiefer) out of context, but I'd have to question ... who is the "we" in 155? How do you know it is specifically speaking of natural events?
Then, the other verses you quoted don't necessarily mean Christians ... and I'd want to question the translation of "monster".
Third, based upon my experience of living over 40 years on the Gulf of Mexico, let me say that a tsunami is a natural occurrence, it's what happens when there is a shift in the plates under the water. You can make one yourself with a bucket of water.
If you live in New Orleans, be prepared for a flood ... or better yet, follow God's word and build your house on solid ground! (the ground is not solid in New Orleans, I know, I lived there). If you live in Florida, be ready for a hurricane, they happen every year. If you live in Kansas, be ready for a twister. Live along the coast? Don't live tooo close, there are such things as tsunami's.

Job 34:10........Therefore, YOU men of heart, listen to me.
Far be it from the [true] God to act wickedly,
And the Almighty to act unjustly!
Ecclesiastes 9:11-12..........I returned to see under the sun that the swift do not have the race, nor the mighty ones the battle, nor do the wise also have the food, nor do the understanding ones also have the riches, nor do even those having knowledge have the favor; because time and unforeseen occurrence befall them all. For man also does not know his time. Just like fishes that are being taken in an evil net, and like birds that are being taken in a trap, so the sons of men themselves are being ensnared at a calamitous time, when it falls upon them suddenly.

sign of God and Begotten son are 2 diverse concerns. those are 2 Questions. Tsunami with its horrors & deaths became right into a calamity. in accordance to Muslim faith it became right into a try of honest to no count if or not they nevertheless stand organization on their concept or not - as quoted in the above verses. You seems amezed while God rejects to have any son! Do you have any good reason as to why God could desire to have son(s)? Do you have faith that your God shall die and his son shall rule the universe? Or what!! Jesus did not say " i'm God and worship me". Bible does not have any single verse to verify that Jesus became into son of God. it is the Paul - a self appointed apostle to take a seat on the twelfth chair on the heavens - who made Jesus a God incarnation; A God in flash. God rejects such perceptions / fake inspirations. it somewhat is what financial ruin 19:88-ninety two difines. shall wait for your good motives for the son of God!

The floods and earthquakes we see today have been going on for centuries. It is all the price we paid for the sins of Adam and Eve.
A voting booth was placed in the Garden of Eden.
Choice: eternal bliss, (and some would say ignorance), and peace with God,
or the 'Tree of KNOWLEDGE of GOOD and EVIL.'
Guess which one we chose? God left us to our own devices.
Basically, he said:" if you want to play God, go ahead. I will keep in touch."
So all you people who cry 'Why did God do this?', he didnt. We did it to ourselves by being rebellious. We get what we deserve.

Be comforted. Jesus was most likely born in the springtime. Caravans (like the three eastern kings'), did not travel in winter. It's not a sign. It's a tsunami.
