I just don't seem to be able to get a girlfriend. I'm using on-line dating sites but with very little success. Is it my picture that puts the women off?

Online dating sites are so shallow anyway, not only that but there would be hundreds of nubile muscular guys to pic from.
You should get out and socialise more but dont advertise you're "looking" by having your tongue on the floor. Just be yourself buddy, looks are only superficial, make sure your character and intentions aren't.

You're not ugly at all. Most dating sites kind of suck but some aren't bad. Try Yahoo's, E-Harmony's but stay clear of True and Match.com . Those last two are totally based on looks imo lol. Maybe change up your pictures. If you look like you're dressed in work attire only, that'd be quite boring. People like to see pics of you being active - pics with friends, on vacation, in cool looking clothes (maybe a makeover would help). Something along those lines. But back to the main question, you're not bad at all. Good luck hun.

Of course not - there may be some women who prefer others to you, but don't let that get you down. We all have our tastes. The perfect women is out there, so maybe you should get up and out instead of on-line dating. Let them get to know you as a person, not a picture. Have more confidence and you'll shine!! Good luck!

I think it would be best to go out and meet someone through another dating agency - perhaps not an online one.
Alot of people join those as a joke, to have an affair etc etc.
Meeting someone face-to-face first, you get a better feel for them really and know from the off whether you like eachother or not.

Mike it sounds to me like you need a little self confidence. No you are not ugly, maybe you aren't looking in the right places. Try going to an adult singles group at a local church, you might be surprised at the nice ladies you can meet and the fun you can have. Good Luck

Why not simply try chat rooms? You meet some genuine peeps there. But make sure, that they are who they are ok. If you have a chance to meet one who shows real interest with u, go ask permission to have her cell no. (land line no. is way too personal, so don't ask!). Call the no. and take it from there. Looks is nothing but skin! Be yourself, girls would appreciate that better.

If your picture is the one I just saw then no. Your not ugly at all. Sometimes dating sites can be the wrong way to meet people. Try to go places with your family and friends. There is a good chance you'll meet a lovely girl through your family and friends. Be confident and be yourself. Don't worry, just give it time...I'm sure you'll meet someone soon. of course your not ugly, woman can tend to have different types of guys they are interested in. Remember when it comes to online dating, it's best to date people that are within ur age group, and try not to pick the most pretty so super pretty people, cos they will only take u for a ride. :( rememeber it's the intellignance that comes first, not the looks....

No you aren't. If women are not responding to you because of looks, they aren't worth it anyway. Maybe its your personality, or what you wrote. Of course if your profile is perverted or anything, that is definitely going to turn off many women, or attract the wrong kinds. Don't worry about your looks, just keep yourself groomed and heathly and worry about your personality, and just be honest.
