Knowing how to care for it properly and use the right hair products such as shampoo or conditioner. Also brushing or hair or not ripping at it often helps as well.

Does anyone really know? I don't think so. There are sooooo many products that claim to be the secret to beautiful hair but what may work for one person might not have the same effect with someone else. I think this is no "Real" secret to beautiful hair its just trying things out and finding what works best for your hair.

I know what is a misconception--shampoo and conditioner is not the answer. Split ends can't be repaired!! A good diet(not talking about eating cucumbers and tomatoes). A healthy scalp. Drugs play a part--prescription or not, even birth control (women) may make your hair fall out. Maintenance of the hair--over processing, to much heat, anything that has alcohol for hair will dry the hair(no good).

Keep it neat. Use basic shampoo and little conditioner. Always rinse thoroughly. Do not wash hair more than twice a week. Then your hair AND SCALP (people always forget that the scalp is important too as this is what your hair grows out of!) will take care of itself. Eat a good diet and drink lots of fluids. Take care of your hair in the sun like you would your skin, its made of exactly the same stuff. My rule of thumb when choosing products is if you would put it on your skin, then you can put it on your hair and vice versa. Stay away from chemicals and heat. Try and be natural and it will look natural! Works for me!

1Co 11:15 But if a woman have long hair, it is a glory to her: for her hair is given her for a covering.
I think the most beautiful hair is long and natural. But then some people have thin stringy hair, so for them, short layered hair is beautiful. And when it comes to dyeing your hair, in 95% of the cases, your natural color goes best with your skin tone, so leave it that way! But then i have a friend whose hair was almost gray, it was such a pale brown. But shes an exception.
Love your natural beauty!

The best secret is a traditional one. Have palm oil, or amla oil in your hair and massage the scalp with it at night. Then the next morning have your shampoo. But please allow your hair to dry out by itself. Do not carry out a brushing nor blow-dry it, unless you are in a hurry. When it is dry then brush your hair vigorously for some minutes till your hair appears as if you have just had a brushing. Do it twice a week and you'll see the result.
