It really depends on the father. Depending on how close the guy is to the father (meaning if he would shed tears around the father for some other reason with the same emotional heaviness) it would probably seem genuine. If the guy is not that confortable (meaning the guy would NOT shed tears around the father over an issue with the same heaviness) it would probably seem desperate. Hope this answers your question :-)

Many of the problems you may be facing could be just the tip of the iceberg on what is really happening in your marriage. I dont mean to scare you but many problems when they either first show up or if they keep reoccurring could be just whats showing from a larger problem that either you or your spouse cannot even see. One of the only things you can do to help is to talk honestly and openly with each other in the marriage. If things become more serious more serious options need to be looked at as possibilities. I have a blog that has more information on some of what I've been writing about. If you feel like checking it out I would completly suggest it. Read here https://tr.im/zNG6L
Love is a choice that is made everyday when you wake up and every night when you go to sleep. Some days you may not feel the original feeling but love isnt a feeling or an emotion. Its an action a verb. Falling out of love may just mean you need to spice things up a little or that you were never in love in the first place. Don't just get out of a marriage just because you don't think you like the person anymore.

Okay, first of all, If my ex-boyfriend did it in front of my parents I actually would believe that he's genuine and all that, but since I have no idea how this guy really feels, I should get the truth from his friends first... Well, I'll do a Little background check of my own to know whether he's really showing me his Sensitive side or the I just want you back cuz you're Hot side...
Need a little more Information on the Situation.
That's all I can say.

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO, please no don't do that, can u beleive that if any guy cryed for me or to my parents or did anything like that, i would right ahead reject him, trust me i hate when a guy crys, but look if u want the girl's parents to agree, please the girl, let her pick u 4ever, then trust me she will make her parents like u, the parents only wants the girl's happiness, look maybe u could make a tatoo of her name on ur arm, emm...maybe u could give her a half heart neckless and for u the second heart, coz really that is way way more romantic than shedding a tear, am a girl and if the guy that i love was crying to get me i'll reject him, coz a guy should be sooo musucline and crying is soo feminine, so don't cry maybe u could lower ur head down a little, just take advantage of each tip up there, and don't listen to anyone that have told u CCRY!...lol, good luck, :)

Make sure its infront of the mother, because women find men who cry to be senstive, endearing and think they make great fathers. Men who yell don't get positive ratings among women, but men who cry really do because its not that often a man is that open and vulenerable. Its a good thing- as long as you are open, straightforward, and cry mainly when the mother is around. If he cries, they will pity him, and try to convince the gf to go back, he is a nice guy after all.
Do nice things for them, offer to walk the dog, etc. Desperation can be a good thing if you flip and show you are willing to move the world for the people you love.

To me, shedding tears doesn't make a guy look desperate. It just shows that he cares enough to show how he genuinely feels.

It will make him look like a man who cares. Nothing wrong in shedding a tear. Good luck to you or whoever the guy is

If the tears are genuine, there is nothing wrong with a man crying. It shows he has a sensitive side.

Texting lets you control the tone and establish what kind of conversation you want to have. Learn here https://tr.im/WQ7MW
This is probably the most important part. With texting, you can stop and think about what you want to say to your ex at each step of the way. Instead of reacting emotionally, you can take your time, figure out the right thing to say (I’ll give you most of it), and be strategic with your ex without saying something that you’ll regret.
