i want to restore the original size and dimensions of photos which are compressed. any idea how?

You cant, once its compressed, most of the photo information is lost, so expanding it again is not a good idea, ie, you are trying to make 1 pixel to take up 3 pixel spaces.

Thats not possible... once an image is compressed data is shrinked to fit the new size and dimension... it can not be modified to its original form... but if you know the origin of the photo... u can request for the original.
