In what ways are their training the same? whos better at hand to hand combat? and whos stealthiest?

You may get some answers that disagree with me but being there at the time, before 'spin' I think this is the element.

The Green Beret's were five man units that could function in areas that were not secure to give aid and assistance to the people. That's why a seasoned 'Medic' was essential to the team, They also had the ability to fight their way out if needed.

The Seals were a weapon. Used to eliminate obstacles. In 1965 a seal team came out of Viet Nam on a C-118 with 7K on the tail. Their existence was classified. They had lost one man who fell off the back of a truck.

Both units require all the man can give. Don't compete it you're on the same page.
