God said obey the laws of your land(including elected officials and their policies)- but let us not forget, we have the power to change those laws when they become corrupt.

Not all of us who are evangelical Christians necessarily support the GOP or the Bush administration. Some of us are conservative, pro-life, pro-family Democrats.

I'm Republican and I do not support Bush, so your question is quite the biased assumption and generalization. As for the pastor at my church, he never has a whole lot to say. Of course, how could he when we have him hogtied and gagged?

My Pastor has taught us we are to support who ever is in the Presidency. We are to pray for them and pray that God will help and guide them. No if we don't support Bush as you We are turning against God. Who is in the office of President is not how we determine if we follow God.

I never did support Bush. He is an idiot. And a Pastor doesn't enter into it. There is a separation from church and state in this country and for good reason. So we don't fly planes into buildings killing innocent people.

No. I'm a Christian, and I never supported Bush to begin with. I research candidates on my own, and do not allow my church to tell me how to vote.

we are to obey the government in everything - paying taxes, obeying rules and laws, showing respect, etc. if we don't, we are ultimately showing disrespect towards God, for he is the one who placed that government over us. when the apostle paul wrote romans 13:1-7, he was under the government of rome, during the reign of nero, perhaps that most evil of all the roman emperors. paul still recognized that government’s rule over him. how can we do any less?
