when you are 16 you are trying to reach for more independence and that could be the irritability with your mother. however if you feel that it is a problem then talk to your mother and tell her what is going on and how you feel. you may need some family therapy and could be suffering from some depression problems or anxiety. both of those can make you very irritable. try to keep your stress level down and do some things that you enjoy and make sure that you get out of the house. but communication is a big thing and just tell your mother that you are sorry and that you may need some help getting this under control. she will listen. i hope that this helps

That's not good. Everybody gets irritated/angry at one time or the other. But it makes no sense if your irritation is very regular. Be cool, relax and above all think why you get irritated and moreover pour your anger to your mum. Does she feel nice. She will ignore your childish attitude but for how long? Be strong, learn to face the facts, and grow up now. Your mother is a lovely person and she will obviously feel low (sad) when you get angry with her for no reason.

You have quick adrenaline drives like I do at least your not a cold fish you probably jump to your mums defense too .
If it really troubles you get a book on anger management , and see if you can get on an anger management course , ( not so easy) but the government should put money into running them it would save a lot of beat up husbands
Also realize their are a lot of passively aggressive people in the world that love to wind one up so you lose your temper and there are an AWFULL lot of STUPID people .
If you get stuck with a stupid arrange that you never have to meet them again if you do tell them straight out next time you think they are stupid and to get lost

first thing you need to do is try to calm down. You can find soemthing that you are interested to do and stick to it. such as play basketball, swimming, workout at the gym etc. these exercise can help you reduce stress and anger. so you will not get irritated easily.

not trying to be a wise guy , but seriously go do it on a hard target , like some drunk 21 yr old outside of a bar. get your *** beat , and then you realize what the consequences of a hissy fit can be. unless ur a girl then forget that..its common for chicks to be moody and fly of the handle people just learn to ignore you.

try meditate or do some yoga. it will help calm yourself and help block other people. another way to fix that problem is just to listen to music and ignore people.
