I get hours of California sunshine directly in my bedroom, so I am wondering if it would work to sunbathe.....does a window screen block out any rays? Would I get tan?

Thanks!

p.s. to all who wonder WHY I wouldn't go outside and tan, there's always people around, all our neighbors can see, and I don't want "tan lines".
;)

Thanks for your advice everyone!! I think I'll take my screen off then..

yes, your screen will affect your tan.

imagine laying out at the beach, and having the screen against your stomach. you'll have tiny squares, by the end of your tan.

Either remove the screen(temporarily, of course), or grab a towel, iPod (or boombox, if you invite the girls over), and kick it in your backyard.

Whichever way works.

If its a fly screen, just knock it right out, as long as you can put it back in, and if its an ordinary window, just open the window O.o

Enjoy~

If they are dual pane windows they have UV protection built in. But really the question is...why not just go outside?
