don't worry, just party. i highly doubt it'll end then, i have too much to do before then anyways, just don't worry about it. ooh wait, crap, maybe you should because there's this comet that's coming by soon (saw it on science channel) i don't know when it's coming by, but it's gonna come by, and then it'll swing around the solar system and hit us. but we can destroy it, the only problem is the people who can destroy it don't have enough money yet, but they're confidant they can raise a bunch of money when it comes around the first time and it scares everyone. so maybe, but i don't remember when it's supposed to come, so i don't know. strange.

No I do not believe that the world will end on Dec. 23, 2012 because the scriptures say that no man knoweth the day the world will end. However according to the Bible it should be sometime this Millenium.

Now about the date Dec. 23, 2012 it is the date of the completion the thirteenth cycle of the Mayan Calendar. It is basically when the Mayan Calendar runs out. It is also known as "Lounsbury correlation". Mayan researchers believe that is the day when the Mayans thought the world was going to end. I have not read anywhere that this date bas been agreed with by the Chinese nor Prophets

The Mayan calender ends December 21, 2012..

No I honestly don't think the world will suddenly end on that day..

My daughter and I are however throwing a spoof "End of the World" party starting the evening of the 20th.. and running through the 21st...

What better way to spend a time so many project as the end of the world than having a huge party...

The Mayan, Sumerian and Chinese calender do all end around December 2012 on our calender. the Mayans called it an end to this system or grand cycle. BTW the Mayans have a calender system made of three calenders which is super accurate like an atomic clock.

I don't think the world will "end"...but I DO think this world system (governments and all the BS that goes with them) will end then and a new system will start.

Its the end of the long count calender, the short ones end every 12 months. Just like the world ended in 1999,........... what it didnt? Damn it!

Its also the return of the Pagan Gods, apparently. They swing by every 3'600 years or so. (ever wonder why a circle has 360 degrees?)

No dont worry just party anyway.
End is for streets and rolls of toilet paper.
Just think if it was a comet it would be the end of its travel.
In 2012 a new calendar will be posted.
Oh no the end of the 2011 calendar....

Nah. It would be way to easy and predictable for the world to end then. And since nothing in this world is strictly and perfectly predictable, I say that it won't happen. But I am going to sit by and watch the fireworks are people go nuts-- like they did for the supposed Y2K Virus... that never happened. Lol.
