if incest happen in the bible, then why the laws of the land Opposed to it?

Incest was not a sin until the time of Moses. Before that time, sexual relations among blood relatives was necessary from the time of Adam and Eve to populate the Earth.

The laws of the land do not mirror the laws of the bible.

Because social morals have changed. Men were supposed to wear tassles on the four corners of their robe. & not wear women's clothing - which _AT THE TIME_ was something considered the moden trousers.

It's another argument to taking a socially resposnible position to refering ot any faith's sacred documents. They need to be addressed in their socio-historical context.

Anyone who believes that incest was ever ok is one sick puppy. Maybe that is how priests justify child molestation. can humans justify anything, no matter how hideous or destructive?

Because God did...it happened but there was still a law by God against it...written in Exodus
