Many of today try to live by the Old Testament Laws, and what it says at face value. Which was impossible to do.

What we need to do is look at the Spiritual Essence of the Law, thats what the Law says in truth, and not what it says at face value.

Jesus taught us the Spiritual Essence of the Law. He said that whosoever looketh at a woman to lust after her has committed adultry in his heart. Here Jesus is showing us that just the desire to do something is the same as doing it.

Jesus took all the laws of the Old Covenant and showed us the Spiritual Essence of fulfilling the law, when he said; Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind.

This is the first and great commandment.

And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.

On these two commandments hang all the law and the prophets.

Ever wonder what the world would be like if everyone followed these two commandments?

To be honest. No I don't. I can't remember to ask myself "What would Jesus do" everytime I make a move.

I don't think Jesus would want you to do that either. You should know the difference between right and wrong. Jesus was perfect, and we have to remember that we arent. So its okay to make mistakes- Just not the big ones.

When Jesus lived on earth He did what His Father told Him to do. Likewise as Christians we should do what the Holy Spirit, who lives in us, tells us to do. To hear and to obey like Jesus.

Yes, I also get rather peeved if my fig tree doesnt have any figs out of season. I tried to curse it like Jeebus did, after all he said god will do it if I try. Problem is it wasnt dead the next day.
Perhaps I didnt throw a big enough tantrum about it, next time I'll throw myself on the ground and kick too.

Next time I come across a Deaf and dumb man, Im going to stick my fingers in my ears, spit and touch my toungue. Thats what Jesus does! (Or he makes mud out of dirt and spit and rubs it in the eyes of blind men....)

You mean stand there while I'm beaten senseless and die from suffocating on my own bodily fluids after being nailed to a couple of pieces of wood? You go ahead, I'll be right behind you.

I try to live by the teachings, even if I don't believe in the supernatural aspects.

Instead of trying to think what Jesus would do and speculate, I try and do what Jesus actually did. Of course speculation can come from God's revelation of his nature and based on his teachings on earth

I just go with the flow and do what my instincts tell me..... So since I am Jesus I guess I do what Jesus would do

No one really knows what Jesus did, said, or ate for breakfast. Just do what you think is right in your heart.
