Simple. To feed the good-for-nothing spiders. :) Actually mosquitoes and spiders are very important to the environment.

Well at least the mosquito's can transfer horrible diseases. At least they are capable of SOMETHING (eventhough it's bad) What about the fly? Talk about good for nothing.

its food for many other animals. in fact if the mosquito goes extinct then so would many other animals in fact. they feed bigger insects and other animals eat these bigger insects. it would be slow extinction.
you are right though they are a pain in the gluteous
