Well, so this is an empirical fact that proves how matter came into existence by conversion of energy, and the energy required to produce matter is Zero.

"Where did all the matter come from?"

E = mc^2 says matter and energy are the same entity. Since

The observed positive mass/energy density of the universe is equal to the critical density in which positive kinetic and rest energy are exactly balanced by negative gravitational potential energy.

E = 0, the total matter of the universe is zero. Zero does not have to come from anything.

Now, if by "matter" you just mean the equivalent of rest energy, then that came from gravitational energy during the expansion in the early universe.

Got it?

That Zero is the description of Big Bang "E".

ZERO energy doesn't have to come from anywhere, It is literally, NOTHING.

LOL@ Christians asking where did Energy come from! I said, ENERGY REQUIRED = ZERO!

2007-05-30 19:56:41 · update #3

I said ZERO at state of Big Bang. The energy required to produce matter. Not to expand it. In that case, I've given explanation about gravity.

Not an assertion, It's empirical fact you jerk. Read physics?

Trump, you gotta read some more boy, you gotta read some more. Especially the Thermodynamics part you mentioned there. Try reading Victor Stegner before you bring 6th grade knowledge to the comparision.

I am no physicist; therefore, I am not qualified to answer your question, but may I make a few observations? It is my understanding that matter or energy appears "out of nothing" in quantum physics only in a universe that is already in existence. Is this correct?

Your theory is interesting but I wonder if it can be subjected to the scientific method, i.e., is it repeatable? We may be able to create matter out of energy in high energy particle accelerators, but how long does the matter last?

Will a theory about the origin of the universe ever be scientifically repeatable / subjected to the scientific method? What does science have to say about a 1-time historical event? Won't our answers always be theoretical / hypothetical?

One of your statements, namely, "The observed positive mass/energy density of the universe is equal to the critical density in which positive kinetic and rest energy are exactly balanced by negative gravitational potential energy," strongly militates in favor of an anthropic principle, being one of the many conditions necessary for life in the universe. It is my understanding that this balance of which you speak is extremely fine-tuned to a nearly unimaginable degree. This is merely an observation.

I hope this progresses the conversation in some way....

Wow!!! Do you even know what you're talking about? I don't mean to be rude but it sounds like you're taking a physics 101 class, read a chapter on the Mass-energy equivalence and now you think you're Albert Einstein!!

Let me give you a brief overview in REALLY simple terms so you won't need to look anything up.

SOMETHING CANNOT COME FROM NOTHING.

...period...end of story....

You said it yourself that the matter is coming from energy. Energy is something isn't it?

And EVERY scientist knows "Energy cannot be created or destroyed"

Now if you have a real question feel free to ask it but if you just want to paraphrase a chapter you read in your science book please save the cyberspace for something more significant.

-- Let me add this. You said that E = 0.... If you use E = 0 into your equation (let's do some 5th grade math here):

E = M * C^2

E / (C^2) = M * (C^2) / (C^2)

E / (C^2) = M

( 0 ) / (C^2) = M

0 = M

If Energy = 0 then Mass = 0. Very simple. And I don't need a thesarus to prove you wrong.

Where did the energy come from? How did it "come to rest" and collect into matter?

Are you saying then... if the energy has a value of 0 (zero) and matter is the same with a value of 0 (zero) and is really nothing that has come from nothing.... we are imagining all the matter that is here now? Nothing is real?

Your dissertation makes less sense than simply having faith in God.

P.S. I see much clearer now at how much more superior your intellect is in your ability to explain and reason with your advanced vocabulary and verbal skills. When you really go for making your point you fall back on words such as "Jerk" and what else do you have for us?

pps: I'm not the one who strayed from the topic. Please answer my above question. You still have not covered it.

In order to use this calculation I see you are using matter and energy as a source.

In the Book of John (John 17:5) and the night before Jesus arrest, trial and crucifixion he prayed in the garden saying; And now, O Father, glorify thou me with thine own self with the glory which I had with thee before the world was.

Notice that was "before the world, the universe, ever was.

This takes us back to a point when there was nothing. When there was no such thing as "Space, Matter, or Time.

For all of there were a part of creation! Where as the Big Bang as you put it was cause by "matter' an exploding star.

The Bible tells us that the LORD stretched out the heavens over an "empty" place and hung the earth on "nothing." But, science cant understand the divine created power of God! So they have to place the earth on "imaginary" axis?

Imagine that?

you are quoting the E = mc^2 which is a concepte

until is proven stop bashing christianity

cause the last time i checked you cant prove god dosent exsist neither not with a concept

you and your higher then thou additude is quite awful

let me shoot down some of your other quantum mechanic jargin

zero point energy is a concept go look up concept in a dictionary

but lets take the concepte seriously, even though you dont take the concept of the bible seriously.

last time i checked energy is still something zero point energy is still something, zero point field is still something, dark energy is still something

billy bad science over here e=0 where did you pull that from ?

from your profile : "Heaven won't take me and Hell fears that I'll take over..."

hhahaa get over yourself

i don't think as quickly as saved continuously saved. Why could Paul "die each and every day" or repent every day for brand spanking new sins that he committed if that became into real. it does not have been mandatory. I additionally do not have faith that they have been never waiting to fulfill the Lord. i think of robust human beings fall prey to the devil for despite reason. i comprehend that commonly while issues are on a good keel and not something is faulty that I each and every from time to time do not save Him in the vanguard of my suggestions. I basically love God. it is not an instant element the place unexpectedly we are all good. Even on days while i think of i'm doing properly each and every from time to time I do something not somewhat precise. i could desire to think of or say something I shouldn't. i'm basically grateful that He bargains with us over those issues and helps us an area for repentance. If I have been to not repent then i could be in possibility of Hell over returned. we are able to stroll faraway from God each and every from time to time without even figuring out it. it is the little foxes that break the vine. A properly which potential individual could discover themselves precise returned out into the worldwide by potential of letting somewhat element here (like being judgmental) or somewhat element there (like being jealous) pile up until you're in an identical place the place you began. i'm so grateful that His grace is adequate and he will carry us returned to Him if we could desire to come returned returned.

Who started the "ball" rolling in the first place? God is a spirit; therefore, E = zero is correct. If God were composed of matter, then there would be cause for God's non-existence!
For every effect - there has to be a cause - simple physics.

All of this silly rant is only showing (by your own words) is that Energy is not subject to the 'laws' you have devised.
By the way...Energy cannot be Created, nor Destroyed.

am not a christian but i feel compeled to answer you anyway..

Just look at this...imagine and think..

you said nothing cant come out of nothing...so you think there is no prove that nothing will come out on nothing..so you think how can God can come out of nothing..who created him anyway?..this is where people would get confuse...

solution:

God - He is unseen, cant feel him..

Air - It is unseen and yet we breathe with it, we can sometimes smell it be it fresh smell or smelly..

Wind - It is unseen and yet we could feel it presence, windy feeling or cooling feeling...

All is unseen..can you prove it they are not there?

There must be something out of nothing could create things beyond our imagination..who create man? who create the big bang..who can make the universe so perfectly and mysterious...

Find out in Islam..you will get your answer there..

Bless you. Amin
