jogging is good bc/ they say you have to jog over 25 miles per week to lose weight. It took me 3 months of running 60-80 miles per week to lose 10 lbs....if you still have trouble gaining try eating a little more.

Everyone should eat healthy and be active daily! That is good you are thinking about it and good luck. As for the question.. you should not run on an empty stomach so eat like a snack or breakfast and wait 1-3 hours and then go for a run. It starts your metabolism and you don't want to be on starvation mode while running or you will completely burn out fast. You need the fuel! I prefer running in the afternoon or night time because I feel more awake and ready to go. In morning I am too tierd and I feel low on energy.

Truthfully, jogging is great for you no matter when you do it or how much you weigh. My husband is just like you though, he is 5'11" and 130lbs. He has grown to accept the fact that he just has a fast metabolism and lives with it. He jogs all the time and eats even more often and still doesn't lose or gain weight. It makes me mad some days, but I love his skinny little body, its sexy in my eyes even if he doesn't like it.

First of all, you need to stop jogging and start lifting weights. You are too skinny. Start lifting weights, cut down on the cardio and eat more protein!
