Some years ago, when everything in my life seemed to be going wrong for month after month. I worked very hard at solving my problems , but nothing seemed to work and I would even get additional problems. I turned to prayers for help, my prayers seemed to never be answered, I felt like I had lost the Grace of God.

I have been in many life threathen situation sand near death situations in my life, but I never had the fear that tore at my soul like this feeling. It was at this time I discovered for myself that Hell would be the lost of God's love forever.
And it was rather odd that once I accepted this belief things started changing in my life, and I have tried to never take his love and grace for granted.
Is it possible I lost the Grace of God and God sent me a message?

I too have felt as if I was outside the shadow of God from time to time. It left me miserable and feeling the most alone I have ever felt in my life. I sometimes feel as if God forgets I exist and leaves me to my own ruin at my own hands....but then I realize its me that forgets God and that wakes me up and sets me hopefully back on track and once again in the shadow of God.

God sends us trials and tribulations that wear us down and leave us feeling as if we cant take one thing more....but we are wrong cause God says he never sends someone more then they can bear of trials or tribulations. So you "bore" your trial and made your way through just as God said you would and have now been made stronger for it and got your life back on track....good for you and keep up the good work.

Absolutely not!
I can only speak for my own experiences as His child.
I have had such an awesome Christian life filled with spiritual fireworks and divine moments.

Up until the last couple of years.

I felt the lost that you described. But it is ok. I know that we will have mountain top experiences with God as well as the valleys. Our faith will be tested as pure gold as in the refiners fire. Some of us don't make it thru the fire, as we all have seen, but some of us do.

It is FAITH, not the emotionalism of God that gets us thru those times. Trusting in His word and knowing that God is really trying to teach us something that we may need down the road or for a bro' or sis' in the faith to get them thru the road. God would never take His grace from us. We never earned it or deserved it in the first place. But what He does want is true believers that are always going to be His thru the valleys and the hills. Thru the good times and bad. God is soooo good. Be encouraged.

old: I can assure that there is "nothing that can keep us from the love of Jesus Christ". The reality of the Christian life is it is one of trials and persecutions. You haven't lost the grace of God but have experienced a change in your value system. Sometimes, as Christians, God seems soooo far away from us. When this happens, we need to be praying and fasting more to get our focus adjusted. No you have not lost the grace of God in your life - you are just human and tend to think you had - but it is not true. Satan - the Deceiver, wants us to believe that God has given-up on us, so we will quit on our Christian calling and return to the old and former ways of sin and self-centeredness.

There are days whilst i think separated from God. i think as though i'm on my very own. That the look after that protects me from this international has vanished. It takes some prayer and sufferers to get this sense decrease back. i do no longer comprehend what motives it. I also have a question for you however Debra that perchance you are able to answer. once I prayer and attempt to be with God my existence seems to handle a confusing factor and each thing turns into harder. once I say forget it i'm getting a feeling of peace and each thing seems to initiate flowing returned. Why do you think of my faith motives me misery and my loss of religion takes the burden from my shoulders?

I have never lost it since "attaining" it, except for "once." It was at the end of a marriage due to her unfaithfulness and I went "back" into drugs and alcohol to kill dealing with everything. Problem "is" I found the REAL God in heaven through hells I went through again AND it RENEWED my faith, got another woman I have been with for 22 years and haven't needed drugs or alcohol since. Seems the "second" time around God's grace is STRONGER for even my own will has been strengthened so much that NOTHING knocks me off the pedestal the Lord in heaven has put me on. As for you, I would say YES you did lose ASSURANCE in your faith ONLY to have it get STRONGER. Problem with many of us is we lack CONFIDENCE in ourselves and think GOD should be the one to do all the work, when in reality, it is US that should be doing all the efforts for ourselves. That's why we have BRAINS and are not ROBOTS........

When I say..."I am a Christian"
I'm not shouting "I am saved"
I'm whispering "I was lost"
That is why I chose this way.

When I say..."I am a Christian"
I don't speak of this with pride.
I'm confessing that I stumble
And need someone to be my guide.

When I say..."I am a Christian"
I'm not trying to be strong.
I'm professing that I'm weak
And pray for strength to carry on.

When I say..."I am a Christian"
I'm not bragging of success.
I'm admitting I have failed
And cannot ever pay the debt.

When I say..."I am a Christian"
I'm not claiming to be perfect,
My flaws are all too visible,
But God believes I'm worth it.

When I say..."I am a Christian"
I still feel the sting of pain
I have my share of heartaches
Which is why I speak His name.

When I say..."I am a Christian"
I do not wish to judge.
I have no authority.
I only know I'm loved.
Just have Faith, Gods Grace is always there if you want it.

If and when we feel like this you can count on it being because "we" walked away" Not God. However, A God That Is big enough too Save You, Is big enough to keep you Saved! Just come back to Him>>>>>He Loves YOU. He says I will Never Leave you or Forsake You. You can Trust Him! + + +

No, but if your fear helped you become a better person great. In the 4th century the concept of hell was added by the church to convert the then largely Pagan community. Who knows what else was changed, there isn't even really evidence that a religious Jesus existed. Yours is just one of the many thousands that humans have created to ease our fears and try to explain what we do not know.

“For he himself well knows the formation of us, remembering that we are dust.” (Psalm 103:12-14)
“The sacrifices to God are a broken spirit; a heart broken and crushed, O God, you will not despise.” (Psalm 51:17) Jehovah will never reject, or turn away, a heart that is broken and crushed by the burden of guilt. How beautifully that describes Jehovah’s readiness to forgive!
