everyone else wants to have fun. I just want to sit in a room with no one but maybe 2 - 4 people and have a serious conversation. I never get the chance to. I am always anxious. Does anyone ever feel the same way?

Find new, more mature, friends. Try looking older than your age group. Plus you may be setting yourself up for social anxiety disorder and you may want to get yourself on an anti-anxiety medication which may make you feel better overall to where you might be able to have fun again.

Trust me I know the feeling. Find a specific issue you'de like to talk about and maybe look up a forum on the internet about it. It's a substitute for having friends on the same wave-length but it might help you feel a bit more connected.

dude, your friends aren't working for you. find some new ones that like debate or something. maybe you guys can all have a nice conflicting deep conversation and you wont be such an anxious weirdo anymore.

It is probably the company that you keep. Try join clubs that are related to your particular interests. JUST REMEMBER THAT LAUGHTER IS GOOD MEDICINE! It keeps us from losing our sanity sometimes.
