I'm 16 and i have practice swim 5 hrs. each day and go to the gym each night for one hr...is this too much?

i dont think its too much, however, make sure that you eat and drink enough to allow your body to sustain that intense workout regime. AS long as u put back in what u take out of it, your should be fine. O and try eat healthy stuff like lean meats and vegetables rather than junk food. No fizzy drinks either water is a great way to go, and maybe after workout and swim a gatorade or similar drink

Are you swimming competitively? Does the coach require this? Are you aiming for a swimming scholarship? Unless you have a concrete goal, yes, this sounds like way too much.

no, its not too mucch.
i swim competivley year round
i swim 5 hours a day
then run 3.5 miles everyday
no big e

wow! that is a lot...I dont know about too much.

make sure you are getting a lot of protein and eating plenty. Your body needs nutritents to grow..especially at that age.
