Just because something is there doesn't mean we should use it, or that we know the best way to use it. An example: If you didn't know how to use a stove, would you just stick your hand on a hot hotplate?

The main byproducts of hyrdrocarbons are CO2 and H20. CO2 and H20 feed plants. How is that polluting? The plants die and then they eventually turn into a fuel source. So what's the big deal? What else does CO2 and H20 water vapor do? CO2 can hold lots of water vapor making it like a greenhouse. Does that sound familiar? And whar do people do in greenhouses? They grow plant and fruits and vegetables. What people on Earth do you suppose could use a "greenhouse effect". How about Africa? So maybe God's plan is to increase growth of food because there are starving people. So if anyone ever complains to you about the heat just think of the Ethiopian and the are not only hot but hungry.I will always beat a so called "global warming
alarmists.be cause my science is from 8th grade and is easily understood. The alarmists will always resort to fuzzy numbers , hard to explain graphs and every trick in the book".There is a argument for and against the globe getting warmer. I say it's getting more humid and it only feels like it's getting war.

God knew mankind would botch up the world - He told our first parents- Adam and Eve to "keep [maintain] the Garden".
The whole creation was left or destined to a state of decay since it is physical and runs down. Why? Because God is going to re-make a "New" heaven and an Earth, at the return of Jesus Christ. We as people, do have an obligation to maintain the earth though. God foreknew, that our sciences would eventually be our undoing. God gives all people the right to be wrong, should they decide to.

Im not sure if i would pin this one on God, if i were to blame anything i would blame the dead dinosaurs that became the hydrocarbons. I think the only thing God had to do with the use of hydrocarbons is making us "smart" enough to harnes their energy. Your question is kind of like why did God let hitler be born so that he could kill six million people.

god didnt make hydrocarbons...and hydrocarbons wouldnt be so polluting if man didnt discover oil, cars, etc. nature is suppose to balance itself with trees...but humans mess everything up because we have the power...and we are greedy. we cut down trees...and create technology (such as cars) that pollute the air even more and it builds up since there are not ehough plants to get rid of harmful gasses. thus now we have global warming slowly trying to kill us all. this issue has nothing to do with god...and has all to do with us...we need to change our lifestyles to better our future.

Who said God left it there to be used as energy? Maybe we just haven't discovered what the REAL purpose for it was.

maybe He figured we were smart enough to figure it out and use alternate energy sources instead of hundred year old internal combustion engines ...

maybe it's like that so we wont "overuse it" but then again, he could have just made it extra hard to mine or extra expensive to process but not as damaging to the environment.

Why did he also make man in his image but made such a mess of some of them that they spend their lives as uncommunicative vegetables?
