I had this dream, maybe 3-4 years ago. I had cut out my own heart, so I could "repair" it, like it was some clockwork machine. I couldn't fix it, though, so I got frustrated and threw it against the wall, and it slid down in a bloody mess. Then I went out for a walk, leaving my heart on the floor.
While walking, however, I realized I needed it, so I went back to get it and put it back where it belonged. Unfortunately when I returned to my room, someone had taken it. It was gone. So I sat down and then everything went black.

Can someone interpret this?

There is something in your life that is not working right and you're frustrated with it and have possibly ruined a chance to make it right. You are also worried that someone else has come along and jeopardized any chance of making it better.

U have such nice dreams!! I mean unique. Well, this dream sounds like the story most people go through in their lives. We love, we get hurt, we try to fix our hearts. Maybe u couldn't fix yours because it wasn't its time to be fixed, maybe it needed time to mourn and then heal properly without u pushing it to get over things. Then u smash your heart against the wall like what many people do when they get hurt. They decide not to feel again, not to open up to the others in fear of getting hurt. U walked away from it, u tried to live with no feelings for the others. But u realised that this can't work and won't make u happy, u need love to be defined as person. So u headed back to get your heart again, your feelings. But it wasn't there. Maybe that's your fear. U might fear that u can't change back if u change once, that u might not find yourself again, and that u might not find love again. What do u think about that?

You got your heart broken.
You hate how that makes you feel (many of us wish we could take out our hearts)
The only way to mend a broken heart is TIME(clockwork machine), you wanted a quick fix thus throwing it to the wall.
The image of your heart hitting the wall and sliding down, bloody is that you had hit a wall with trying to heal and you feel icky inside.
How easy it would be to walk away from your feelings your hurt, but as you figured out you need those feelings, that is how we remain human.
It was gone because you figured out that you will give your heart away. Your heart is yours to give and take as you choose but to not have a heart at all you would fade into darkness, never loving, laughing, crying.....feeling.

I would tend to agree with the other poster to your question. A "broken heart" dream, is DEFINITELY about "the END" of something... or, a LOSS of a PERSONAL NATURE!!!

And, since you "went to LOOK FOR IT"... and, tried to GET IT BACK... that shows, that YOU STILL had SOME KIND of UNRESOLVED issues RELATED to "WHATEVER"... the "BROKEN HEART" represented in your life...

Be more CAREFUL, to WHOM you GIVE YOUR HEART... to KEEP from HAVING IT... "damaged" or "broken" again!!!

But always remember, all "broken" things (hearts, feelings, bones)... DO "mend" over time!!!

Best wishes to you... :)
