I know everyone says that you shouldn't starve yourself to become thin but, if your body goes uses fat when you don't consume the calories it needs, wouldn't just use up all your fat in like a week or so? Thus being, is starving yourself a good way to lose fat fast?

Nope. You put your body in starvation mode and it shuts down, so it's harder to think. Also, a pound is 3,500 calories, and you might burn just 2000 calories a day on average, so you wouldn't lose a lot of weight in a week, you would just slow down your metabolism. Also, you'd end up with a body like those starving kids in Africa with a distended stomach, and that is just not a good look.

you are wrong.
body doesnt use its fat reserves to survive if you are depriving it - it uses only muscle because a pound of muscle gives it only 600cal when fat gives 3500cal. so body decides to pack on the most amount of calories in as little packages as possible and uses muscles to survive - so you end up having higher body fat percentage and you lose a lot of muscle (more muscle=faster metabolism)

not eating slows your metabolism.
and inorder for your body to function well its gonna try to hold on to as much fat as it can.
so it would help but until your body has to eat up the fat.
it'll just take time to work.
but i wouldn't recommend it.
