Read the question, don't say **** like "That's not possible", and "I know He is real because I can feel his love." And PLEASE for the love of God don't put any of those stupid bible quotes in or I swear in the name of Jesus Christ I will ***** slap you. God, I wish that when I die I'd be able to find out if he wasn't real. If he wasn't I'd be laughing so hard for the longest time. I'll probably be going straight to hell if he is though, I know, i don't need every single person telling me I'm possessed by the devil and what not. :)

btw for the people who are saying they can't answer because ive set out what people can and cant say, i havent acually done that. My question is NOT how can you prove god is real, my question is what would you do if u found out hes not real. Its more like asking would you do things that the Bible says is a sin. I dont want to hear why u think god is real, i want to hear what u would do, its more of a fun question cuz it makes u think how different u would be.

rockcandy: As a Christian, I can tell you that I resolved this issue of God's existence 35 years ago, prior to becoming a Christian. I researched into physics, bio-sciences to name a few, and as a former staunch atheist, uncovered "tons" of evidence for a Creator. How can anyone follow something he or she has not concluded as their reality? It is like saying, that one has never had any grandparents - just that ludicrous! As a Christian, you find that "feelings" are just that-feelings and do not prove anything. Most Atheists or Agnostics have never asked the right questions concerning God when it comes to the sciences but assume that there is no God and accept on faith, that the sciences prove there is no God - or Creator. By the way; you are not "going to hell" nor are you "possessed by the devil" - you are just an average, everyday human being and that's "o-k" too !

No matter what religion you follow the basics are all the same...be good(in all manifestations of goodness) God wants only good from us and to be good to each other...so thats the life I try to lead. If I find out after death that God wasnt real then what did I lose...a life being evil to others and bearing the consequences of that? I prefer to be good for Gods sake and for mine and find out there was really no need then to ignore it and live an evil life and find out God does in fact exist...yikes!

Since it did happen to me, it was a hard time. I loved being religious and being in church and the whole thing. But when I realized how none of it was true, I had to go...and I missed being part of it, but not enough to lie to myself or try to fool myself that I believed any longer. It was like finding out that Santa wasn't real. But I was able to move on. And once I had my eyes opened, I began enjoying the freedom of thought and being free of fear of retribution. It also made me sad to see how delusioned believers were.

Wouldn't you rather live life as a believer to find out that He wasn't real
RATHER THAN
living life as a non-believer to find out in the end that He is real?

Seems like a no-brainer to me!!!

Boy, seems like you've been hit hard by a lot of different opinions.

If I was convinced that God didn't exist, then I'd experience disillusionment, have a LOT of questions that needed answering and then face the ultimate question: Now what?

I don't remember what I did. I was a child, when I figured it out on my own.

first of all if hes not real then you wouldn't be laughing because you're soulless and therefore not existing anymore.
2nd of all i cannot honestly imagine how this intricate world can exist w/o god.
thirdly, i've seen spirituality first hand, so i know he exists.

I've already found that out, so I guess I'd continue doing what I've been doing.
