Ok,
It really sux to be me!!! I'm going into 7th grade, I'm 210 pounds, and I just got braces. It really sux. This summer, I want to give my self a full makeover. Can anyone help???
In 6th grade, I got 5 failing grades the 2nd semester, and somehow passed??? Don't know how, but I did. Everyone teased/teases me, and 6th grade was just hell!!! I want to be skinny before 7th grade starts or at least make some progress. I'm active, it's my eating that makes me fat. It's just so heart breaking, because I used to be soooo pretty, and sometimes when I look in the mirror I can see the skinny girl within!!! Pleas help me to go on some sort of realistic diet so that I can lose some weight this summer!!!

You said you're active, just make sure to stick with that.
(Like, run every day)
There are millions of eating plans online, just look on up that you like.

Hey Jojo, I have been there. I wasn't easy, but I started counting calories. I only allowed myself 800-1000 calories a day. The first few weeks were hard, but then my stomach shrunk, and I was not even able to finish everything on my plate. I did have my best friend to keep reminding me. But in 3 months I had lost 35 pounds. From there I just learned to not eat bread, sweets, sodas, pasta, and rice too often. I haven't been heavy since.

Your doctor may be able to give you a plan that will work better for you. Just remember to walk for 30 minutes or more every day. I rode my bike too!

Jo Jo sweetie. I wish you were in Los Angeles, I would love to help you....You are so young and try to understand I am not insulting you. I am almost 40 and I am hot and a former phattie. You need to live life for yourself. I am in Hollywood and beauty is so normal but everyone hates each other anyways...You need to understand you realize your problem and why this is happening to you. 1. Your education is very important. I always wanted a lot of friends and really never had because I was a city girl but shy growing up in a area where everyone schooled with each other since birth. I was also fat. You need to understand even if you had friends or NOT, most if not all will go seperate ways after high school and you are left with yourself. Don't take this out on your education. As far as the eating, I loved Mc Donalds and to be friends I would always go with people to fast food. This is bad and you need to try to eat alot but eat better. We have internet today and it is a free way to get information on diet and eating healthy. Exercise is good but you have to FOCUS and eat better and exercise in a pattern. Maybe you can take walks every night after homework and add more exercise to your program daily. Your weight seems to be a little high. You may have a situation which runs with your family. If you have a mother maybe she can do this with you. I used to stand at the television at night and do alot of low inpact exercise instead of sitting on the couch. I did this a couple of hours a night if I wanted to watch tv. I required this of me. I focused on my stomach and legs. I did this every night. I also stopped using catsup, mayo. and eating the skin on chickin which I ate all the time. Salad with little dressing is good. Eating better is not eating diet food. Most diet food is not for a diet. This does Not have to be expensive. You are still young and you have to have fun. I was teased but as high school came around I was losing fat and I was enjoying exercise. WHen I had my first job I got involved with a outside sport which cost money so I would show up. It is comittment. Just remember, The girls on the magazines are not normal. I am in Hollywood and these girls you know now from the news are sick. Their lives are ruined forever not until they stop starving temselves and put on some weight, or stop partying or drinking. They are going to have life problems, especially if you starve yourself. All due respect, but the internet will not support you. You're better off finding people who can actually physically see you.

And for eating, that's all you. No friend in the world will go slap the sandwich out of your hand. It's going to be your self-determination to do it.

And as a tip : Change your lifestyle. Otherwise, you'll forever get trapped in a dieting cycle.

Hey Jojo,
I recommend power walking! All it takes is a good pair of shoes. You need to walk fast enough to elevate your heart-rate, but you should still be able to talk. They call that the "talk-test" and if you're walking so fast that you can't talk, you should slow down. You should do this power walking everyday for 30 minutes. You'll love it and you will become addicted to it. Good Luck! Now, go for a walk!

bullshiz. STOP EATING FAST FOOD. STOP CARING ABOUT WHAT PEOPLE THINK!. start by eating less, all you can eat is CARBS you need energy. use that energy to work out 16 hours a day for 3 months. this is the only way. dont drink gatorade. just plain water. the chemicals in everything we eat is just nasty. eat natural food such as veggies and fruits a LOT!!!as for your grades, its because your in 6th grade, thats why. kids make fun of you making yous elf conscience of yourself. it distracts you from your work. whatever you do DO NOT GET SURGERY OR EAT DIET PILLS. ITS BULLCRAP!

try working out in the gym and eat a little healthier without starving yourself
I'm the opposite of you I'm super skinny and desperately trying to gain weight
I hope you eventually lose that weight otherwise your going to end up with a serious health problem
