Do pretty women really have the upper hand for job preference?, Would a man abandon a perfectly decent women with average looks for a golddigger with supermodel looks?, are men more polite to pretty women?, Would you break up with you gf should she put on weight?

I would say looks only matter in the beginning of a relationship, because sexual attraction is what brings people together. Now if the man doesn't really like the decent woman that much, then yes he will abandon her for the supermodel, but if he loves her then no he won't.
A decent person will be polite to everybody no matter what they look like unless he has a reason not to be. Now he might pay more attention to a pretty woman because of the sexual attraction thing mentioned above.
I would not break up with a gf who put on weight, but I would definitely encourage her to lose it and stay healthy unless she has a legitimate reason for putting on the weight.

OH WHAT A QUESTION TO ASK US GUYS.
Yes it does make a difference what the women look like or so i used to think but then i married the most wonderfull women out there.
When we first met 15 years ago she was scruffy , fat , and had two young kids but sex was sex then she got divorced and lost a LOT of weight and WOW sex was suddenly a hell of a lot better but then i started to feel closed in then much later i found that she would do ANYTHING for me and what guy wouldn't want a women that lets him do as he pleases,then she put weight back on,then kids were older and i fell in love with this women simply because the beauty was more than skin deep.
Now ,we live in this great country for the last 4 years from the UK and she has matured into a wonderfully caring and beautiful women.

From what I know, 9 times out of 10 yea we guys will turn our heads at the sight of a hott woman... but that doesn't mean that we all are created equal on that subject... this girl im trying to see isn't a super model but she's still amazing in my eyes... I need personality to go with the looks and id never leave a girl for an extra few pounds but if they become lazy and overly obese id think about it... As for a job i believe its equal in most places... And I hate to say it im polite to everyone but yea im more polite to a pretty woman... im shallow too i guess but that doesn't mean id trade a perfectly average woman for a golddigger... but like i said we are not created equal. there are plenty of guys who want an "Average" girl but there are also the meat heads who like to move to the more attractive ones no matter the personality... well thats my outlook...

Important initially, but I've seen not so great women who can do the best with what they've got and have men all over them.
Bars & Clubs aren't probably the best places to meet men, however.
After a few dates, unless a guy likes the trophy, hollow women get boring.
Another thing is a women should care about how she looks not for guys, but for herself. The exterior both in what she does and how she looks is a reflection of self-discipline and hardwork.
Everything comes at a price.
So for your scale, I say 7.

Looks are about a 9 in importance, though other things can be deal breakers as well for an otherwise attractive woman. I've read research that says attractive women have an advantage in promotions, grades, hiring, and of course dating. Women are judged on beauty, the same way men are judged based on other superficial traits.

Think it depends on the mans age. The older they get the more sense MOST of them seem to get. Before 45 they are pretty dumb when it comes to pretty women and some of them just never get a clue.

for me, 4 - 5. unfortunatly they do have upperhand in jobs. i wouldn't go 4 the supermodles. im polite to any women. i would never break up with my girlfreind if she put on a little weight. that would be stupid move.

in general, for guys, its a 9 or 10.
and unfortunately, itd probly be a yes for all of those things, although that may seem awful, its true.
There are some guys out there who arent like that.
