Please don't be a pig! Be responsible and put your change in a jar. If you happen to be cleaning out the couches and find change, put it in a commons area. For the sake of a feud, have a discussion with the other three. Maybe you guys would decide that all money found, (legitimately) will be palced in a movie and pizza jar and used collectively by all for times when you all can benefit from it with some joint social time and house meetings.

Smile!

A little change can cause some big changes!

Cute question: I'd say whoever took the time to lift the cushions to vacuum, but maybe anyone that is short on change for the vending machine at work might take a peak. I do inspections in a housekeeping department. I've lifted cushions and found change. If the girl that is suppose to be lifting those cushions to vacuum did so, she would have found it.

Whoever takes the initiative to lift the sofa cushions and actually cleans the couch should get the money. They're earning it.

Same rule as the washing machine - if ya don't empty pockets and there's change to lose...well it's loose change?
Give it to whoever - as long as "the whoever" is first on the end of a vacuum cleaner to find it!

If you want to be fair. Gather all the change and put it in a jar and split it once a month or so.

In our house the person digging it out got it all and could share it if he/she wanted.
