if my twin brother and I got married and had children one day? Didn't we all come from brothers and sisters?

That's a great sin. You're both created to be brothers and sisters - (moreso, twins) to each other, and NOT TO BE EACH OTHER'S SPOUSE.

One of the differences between humans and animals is that animals do sexual intercourse with their siblings, and even to their parents (cats), while humans don't.

You are 100% related by blood. Even if you consult scientists, I am sure, they'll tell you that your children (if ever you continue that) will be born with some abnormalities because of your genes.

To sum it up, it will do no good. It would only satisfy your flesh and your fantasies. There are a lot of men out there. I don't think you're not that depressed to **** your twin brother.

God let's you make your own decisions in life, if he were able to make them for us...wouldn't we all be perfect? the Bible says we are all brothers and sisters "in God's way" but not for real. we all originated from Noah and his family. because people before that were killed by the flood. at least that's my understanding. but i'm not an expert :). I'm guessing that your question is a hypothetical, and if that IS the case, i think to marry your twin brother and have children, would be a selfish thing to do because you've got to think about those kids and what they'll be like. No offense, but they wouldn't be normal most likely. hope this helps..when all else fails..read the bible :)

God made us so that we could make other people spiritutally strong not only ourselves and relatives but people we could love forever. Brothers and sisters have too close of the same lives as one another and would be weird to experience each other in that way. if you go about doing something like that God wouldnt be happy and that not what he intended us to do.

Not to mention the crazy medical problems those children would have and mental on top of that........not a wise idea.

Incest isn't only immoral...it's sick. I'm sure you must have a reason for wanting children with flippers and webbed feet...but your reasoning is beyond me.

Some animal breeders use incestuous pairings in order to bring out all the worst possible genetic characteristic quickly...that way, the bloodline can be purged of those particular characteristics in a handful of generations. Personally, I wouldn't want to be on the receiving end of that particular kind of breeding...but to each his own.

On a more personal note, just the fact that you asked this question is disturbing. Perhaps you should consider counseling.

Actually, there has been several occasions where brothers and sisters get married and they end up having retarded children. In your case probably more since you two are twins. Maybe you two aren't even compatible!

Check your compatibility.. You dont want to end up with Children with Down Syndrome.

Since it is considered incest, and illegal and immoral, I wouldn't recommend it.

Yes we are all descents of NOAH and his family, but there was enough generations before intermarriage started that no brother/sister marriage is recorded in the Bible that I remember/

The result of a same generation marriage/child could be anything from insanity to malformed.

Look at the Royals of the Past and how much insanity there has been recorded, due to marriage of brother/sister

I don't really think God would mind as long as there is love there, but the real issue is that inbreeding in human beings is extremely dangerous for the resulting child. There is a much higher chance of birth defects and retardation because of the tiny gene pool. So, dont worry about God minding, worry about the life you would leave a child

I guess your question is purely hypothetical, here's quotes from Bible for your question,
Deuteronomy 27:22 "Cursed is the man who sleeps with his sister, the daughter of his father or the daughter of his mother."
2 Samuel 13:1-33 Amnon and Tamar example

May God have mercy on our souls... And your children's!

Counter question - how in love with yourself would you have to be to pick your own twin as the only person you can live the rest of your life with??

Are you asking a human being to tell you what God will accept. The Bible is full of writings what God demands of mortals. There are also instances of unions between siblings in the Bible.
