whats the difference between edy's ice cream and dreyer's ice cream??

Greater nutritional value in the Breyers. Less sodium, but more fat in Edys. The formula must be different because the nutritional values in Breyers are so different.

Air. The better the icecream the less air is "churned" into it. Most mainstream brands will be up to 80% air by the time they are done. The high end "boutique" ice creams will have hopefully no more than 10%. Even the expensive brands like Ben&Jerrys, or Haagan Dazs have 30%+ (probably over 50)air by volume.
