I was wondering why some Budha sculptures show him holding a string of pearls. And I am sorry if I offended anyone by spelling Budha wrong, so feel free to correct me.

sorry about my spelling, but people don't have to be a **** about my learning disorder. It would have been legit if you had an answer, but posting to be a ***** is kind of a waste of both of our time.

they are called mala beads. The beads are used in meditation, kind of like a rosary. Actually they are probably called something else depending on what country the statue is from but that is the most common name for them.
