Nirvana is the complete cessation of suffering which comes about when the psychological self is seen for what it is (illusory) and one sees oneself as the very Thing that always has been. This is buddhism and is salvation.

it's all interpretation- (some christians answering this question might not agree)
but i see it as the same thing- different metaphors expressing the same idea
heaven = eternal love, peace in God's kingdom
nirvana = eternal love, peace in God's kingdom

No, the Bible says there is no remission without the shedding of blood, and Jesus shed his perfect blood for our sins.
