A liberal Christian is one that follows the message of Christ which consists of tolerance, love, understanding and peace.
A conservative Christian is one that believes supporting the war, that torture programs are ok, that to hate other poeple for being different is good.
Basically a conservative Christian is the tool of Satan and the liberal Christian is the tool of God.

The word "liberal" doesn't refer to politics in this case.
Liberal Christians tend to believe that the "truth" of religion can be questioned and examined just like any other source of "truth" or "knowledge."
I once had someone define a liberal Chrisian as one who uses "reason, experience, and conscience" to sift the testimony of the ages. Liberals don't insist that they possess the truth; rather, they are determined to find the truth and to put their faith in what they find.
