So why are we in Iraq?Isn't it because Muslims there were telling us that they had weapons of mass destruction. Not to mention the mass graves that are being found there. They were killing even their own people and still are today not Bush.

Lavender how can you say you agree with the first answer, then say you can just pick out a group of people and blame it on the whole group. That is exactly what the 1st. answer did.

Let me clear up one fact for you. Catholics are not only Christians; They are the largest sect of Christians. Straight from wikipedia- " Roman Catholicism: The Roman Catholic Church, the largest single body, includes the Latin Rite and totals more than 1 billion baptized members." Just because your church doesn't believe Catholics are Christians doesn't make it a fact. If you are a Christian who doesn't see Catholics as Christians, you are in good company. The KKK was also started "Christians" who went after Catholics. Adolf Hitler based his Nazism on "positive Christianity" which went against the Catholic beliefs. Oh I guess the fact that the KKK and Nazism were started by "Christians" blows your belief that Christians never killed anyone. Or maybe it just proves that evil people can do evil things and say they are doing it for a religion.

Oh really? what about Christians then?

The Church in the past has burned people alive. Pressecuted Blacks calling them an abomination. Oppressed women as inferior beings, and today the Church is active in an Modern day Witch-hunt against our fellow poeple that are gay.

Hmm is the Christian God about love? (according to what the Church does at least)

Some U.S. soldiers have abused Iraqi prisoners at jails such as Abu Grahib and treated them inhumanely. Does that mean that the U.S. can no longer be a voice for human rights and democracy in the world?

It certainly damages our credibility; but it remains true (at least to this American) that the United States, on the whole, has been a force for good in this world. So it is with Islam. While some have damaged Islam's credibility as a force for good in this world, Islam remains a faith that has compelled people throughout the centuries to good works for their fellow man, to concern for community, and to passionate devotion to a cause that is more noble than mere self-interest (a subject on which this nation needs some wisdom).

Yes, there are Muslim thugs and tyrants and murderers. But as a Christian, I know that all of us possess that capacity for evil - and in fact, we succumb to our inherent tendency to wrong one another every day. I also know, however, that all of us (including and especially Muslims) are capable of love. Our task - all of us, not just Muslims - is to seek to be children of light rather than children of darkness.

Each religion has their own group of fanatics. And categorizing all Muslims under this is so ridiculous. It's like saying all Christians kill pagans/wiccans. If you want to see love in any nation, it will be found where education, tolerance, and compassion can be found. Unfortunately, we are missing it in every nation these days. If it's not gays being attacked, it's the African American or Muslims. Sad.

I agree with the first answer. You can't just pinpoint one group of people.
And as u said, they are REBELS, they are not true Muslims if they r going round killing innocent people. That is going completely against Islam.

Have you ever read history and noticed that Christianity is responsible for a million times more? Obviously, there are all types in any large group.

Considering how many people have been killed by Christians over the years, I don't think they should talk.
