No one knows when the end will come, but we know we are living in the last days by Bible chronology & prophecy.
GOD IS NOT GOING TO DESTROY THE EARTH, THE EARTH SOMETIME IN THE NEAR FUTURE WILL BECOME A GARDEN OF EDEN OR PARADISE WHERE PEOPLE CAN LIVE IN PEACE & SECURITY.
ARMAGEDDON IS SIMPLY HIS WAR TO CLEAN THE EARTH OF WICKED PEOPLE & ALL BAD THINGS THAT EXIST, & PEOPLE WHOSE WORSHIP IS UNACCEPTABLE TO HIM.
Why, though, would God wage a global war? Armageddon is closely related to one of his cardinal qualities, justice. The Bible declares: “God is a lover of justice.” (Psalm 37:28) He has seen all the acts of injustice perpetrated during man’s history. This naturally provokes his righteous displeasure. Thus, he has appointed his Son to wage a just war in order to do away with this entire wicked system.
Only God is capable of waging a truly just and truly selective war during which righthearted individuals, wherever they may be on earth, will be preserved. ) And only he has the right to impose his sovereignty over all the earth, for it is his creation. Revelation 4:11.
What about survivors? Indeed, no one needs to perish at Armageddon. The apostle Peter observed: “God, does not desire any to be destroyed but desires all to attain to repentance.” (2 Peter 3:9) And the apostle Paul stated that God’s “will is that all sorts of men should be saved and come to an accurate knowledge of truth.”
Consider the good Har–Magedon promises to achieve, godly humanity’s peaceful future on this planet, no more pollution, no more war, no more poverty, no more disease or even death. God promises: “Look! I am making all things new.” Revelation 21:3,4

I feel that you should talk to your parents about these issues and ask them what they think. They can provide a simple solution to your fears but maybe also help you think of something else. The real answer though to your problem would be to live your life and never concern yourself with the end of the world or problems like that. That's not up to you when the world would end so live your life in the mean time. Be a normal person and don't worry about the skepticism of the world.

I have heard that too, and there can be some comfort in the fact that there have been dates predicted as the end of the world for hundreds of years. Allow me to speak from my religious perspective here. It's one reason that the Bible states that no one but the father knows when this will happen. Because God does not want us to live in fear. We Christians have a blessed hope of an eternity and is one reason that I don't fear death.
SO, if you are worried about this issue, my suggestion is to figure out how to prepare for this. If you knew that a hurricane was coming to your house, you would prepare for it, wouldn't you. So, I encourage you to do the same. Prepare for this date, but don't live your life in fear of it, because it may only be a prediction and nothing more.

Look just live your life. Nobody but God knows when the world is going to end and He says that it is going to happen when noone thinks that it will. Nobody can predict the end of the world. Just live each day the best that you can and leave it at that. Be happy with the life you have and the end of the is not something to worry about as long as you just try to live life well.

I can empathize. Sometimes I worry about it too, not for my own sake but because my greatest fear is the suffering of my children. The trigger of this fear may, in fact, be the only reason I give the prediction any credibility at all.
I haven't entirely conquered it, but I get by reminding myself how many end of the world prophesies have not happened, and that there's so many possibilities for the future it's pointless to fret over it. I have to take deep breaths and force myself to take life as it comes. What else am I going to do?

All living beings in the form of humans have the obligation of trying to earn salvation, they must not waste the human form, and try to seek enlightenment, understand their purpose of existence, their relationship with god and true happiness.
This is what human life is for,not for thinking about when doomsday will appear and when god will come down and kill massive amounts of people for not worshipping a specific form of him,and then caste them down into hell for eternity.
Is this honestly what human life is for,is this what god is for?To wonder about when all those who are not of your faith will be slaughtered ruthlessly by god?
Thats the most pathetic use of faith I can think of,and the majority of religions (Abrahamic) always do this, they scare the people about how they must convert,or else their genocidal conception of god will wreck havoc. Not all Christians,Muslims and Jews do this, but an awfull lot of them do.And if they are, please do not listen to them, they said that god will come down on numerous occasionsin 1989,August 22 2006,September 12 2006 and numerous other occasions.
God is the almighty, the creator of the vaste cosmic manifistation, why would god,so pure, the ultimate truth and the source of love want to send everyone to hell?
Don't worry about the end of the world, the world has to end at some point, everyone is doomed at birth to die,the Earth was doomed to end on birth. The duty of all living beings is to attain the highest consciousness, realize god's prescense everywhere and become fully aware of god, human life is for this purpose, not for scaring everyone.Such people waste their time.

The world will end either when the sun explodes or when we ruin the planet to the point that it can no longer sustain life. Scientists give the sun several billion years before it goes supernova, so no worries there. As for us ruining it, that's a more immediate threat. We all need to start doing something to preserve the planet.

The end of the world has been predicted in every generation for thousands of years. Maybe it's time we laid that fear to rest and started acting like humanity still has a few millennia to go... this means fixing global warming, helping poor countries etc.
