The gulf islands are worth visiting like Rangitoto, Great Barrier, Waiheke etc. There are remnants of kauri forests along the Northcote/Birkenhead coast - Kauri point and Kauri Park.
Mt Eden and One Tree Hill are volcanic cones with big craters in them, worth looking at. There's a whole lot of other cones around the city but they're probably the best to go to.
Howick Village is a pretty village centre, worth stopping at if you're already going to Botany Town Centre/The Hub. On the other side of the city is Titirangi Village which is at the start of scenic drive which goes into the Waitakare ranges.
Also around Howick is the Howick Historic Village which is a collection of old colonial cottages and other buildings which have been moved to the current site from their original locations to form a village like the early settlers lived in. There are also people who dress in period costumes there.
Somewhere around Takapuna is remnants of a petrified forest I recall, on the beach, might be worth looking at.
Viaduct Basin is full of cafes and bars and is on the waterfront, that's normally busy too.

Well I live in Auckland NZ, The sky tower is a popular one, also bungy jumping off the harbour bridge and the bridge climb is a great one. Best time of year is in summer of course, or when there is lots of rugby on....pubs go off.
There is ellerslie race course, Botany town centre, rainbows end (although its nothing compared to american theme parks) Kelly tarltons aqatic centre, mission bay is good for hiring out bikes and roller blades.
All the maraes (the maori meeting houses)
Hilton would be the nicest hotel but not affordable! you would be looking at something like a backpackers off of queens st or if you wanted something a bit nicer sky city has really nice rooms and they are affordable for what they are as well!
You could go to waiwera mineral pools with all the water slides or go to any one of the beautiful beaches in Auckland like mission bay or maretai beach!

There is a shortage of jobs in New Zealand right now and many people are applying for the same job. Most jobs require New Zealand citizens to apply. You could look at where there are shortages in specialised ares and gain qualifications for those areas before going to New Zealand and I agree, it would also help before you considered New Zealand to improve on your written english.

travel blogs ........ hit the search by country/town and the site will give you links to the local area. These are actual travel diary sites for visitors but add tons of side bar info on places to see, things to do, tours, airline deals, hostel and eatery ratings should keep you busy for a bit ~
