The coniferous biome, known popularly as the taiga region is essentially a temperate region.
I would say it is cold

If you HAVE to choose one, choose cold because there are more months of cold than of hot. However, the summers can get pretty hot in the coniferous forests of the taiga.

popularly known as taiga coniferous regions have extremly cold winters with warm summers.During most of the year it is cold.

Cold, generally, particularly if these are the only trees that are growing there.... They are pine and fir tree areas. And tho pines and firs will grow in warmer areas, only broadleaf trees will be the major trees in tropical areas.

cold...broadleaves are classic tropical plants and I would not expect to see many conifers there at all....I would expect them to be seen in Arctic or at least sub-arctic areas.
