ok im 5'3' and i weigh 136 and im 16 and ,my mom insists that i loose weight which makes me feel bad : (

For what i think your not fat . Try not to let anyone make you think something bad about your self . Be careful with your weight and perception of your self. Love you first and then love others it may sound ego but that's how i manage not to let anyone put me down. You have the whole world ahead of you. Take good care of yourself.

Your ideal weight is probably around 115 lbs. It probably wouldn't be a bad idea to consider watching your weight. Cut back on the junk food and sodas. Drink lots of water. Get plenty of exercise.

Your body mass index is 24.1 and the range is:

Normal weight = 18.5-24.9
Overweight = 25-29.9
Obesity = BMI of 30 or greater

You are in the normal range. Just eat right and get regular exercise and your body will stay where it is healthy.

well a fitness gage i have says you are, your target weight is 115 , though this a general Gage, some girls are built athletically which there for adds more weight, the way i see it is if you are happy with yourself don't change a thing, but if you feel bad about you weight and body then exercises and choose healthier habits

That's about right. I mean, if you REALLY wanted to, you could lose 5-10 pounds... but you're at a fine weight now.

What I meant to say was, 16 is no time to be worried about how you look. Go commit crimes while you're still a minor, and enjoy your metabolism while you still have it.

Sounds ;like she has some issues of her own and is trying to project them on you. Your fine and perfectly healthy, sounds like your mom has some self esteem issues she needs help with.
