every one in my family belives in god but me. when i think of a superhuman and supernautraul person it really seems IMPOSSIBILE how can this god guy controll 1,283,337,334,343,243 allat once!!!!!! just think of it!!!

just because you cant disprove it does not mean it exists, try to disprove the Flying Spaghetti monster. Faulty logic. so is the excuse that 'god is infinite, man is finite, man cannot understand god'. bullsh!t. YOU are correct, no mind could comprehend nor create everything. Man cannot comprehend the totality of existence, so we create god, to explain things. humans no longer need god, but we cling to the archaic idea because it gives us comfort. God no longer causes earthquakes or diseases, we(humans) know how these things work. take a look at who beleives in god the most. the ignorant. I dont care if this piss' people off, but its true, the educated and intelligent are most often athiest, or at least agnostic, while the poor, uneducated and ignorant have the greatest tendency towards religion. Karl Marx once said 'religion, is the opiate of the masses'.
make up your own mind. Believe those who seek the truth, DOUBT those who find it.

Truly intelligent design?
Nobody has ever explained to me why things are the way they are and not different. So I've given this a great deal of thought and come up with a unifying theory:
Given God exists: {can not be proved either way}
God eventually created EVERYTHING
But he started small with sub-atomic particles created out of pure energy.
Then atoms
Then elements
Then matter
Then the material multiverse
God had no real way to measure time so this could have all taken an infinite amount.
Once there was something, time really began.
There was a moment when the cosmos came into existence.
Before that there was nothing to have a duration so no real time
After there was all of eternity stretching out time was passing after the first creation.
Using the matter, energy, space and time God created amino acids.
Combining amino acids god made one celled organisms and gave them rudimentary sentience.
From there one celled organisms combined for better survival prospects and eventual through millions of years of trail and error evolved sapience and started asking questions like "what can we eat" "how shall we eat" and eventually "where shall we have lunch"
Maybe God watches the eons unfold or might have gone on to more esoteric pursuits. But I'm sure God doesn't micro- manage.
Notice I never assigned a gender to God?
I'm open to any new theory that can explain why to me but meanwhile I'll consider "Any sufficiently advanced technology is indistinguishable from magic."

Think about it more. Look into your beliefs and you will become more sure of your position. I personally believe atheism is the sign of a healthy and independent mind so congrats. I also recommend reading the God Delusion by Richard Dawkins if you like philosophical books.

I thought of it and i'm sorry i can disagree with you. I know it seems impossible but NOTHING i mean nothing is impossible for God. ok think of this. who made the trees? look at you who made you? and don't tell me that little thing about mommy and daddy loved each other...ok so yea w/e what formed you? how is everything created. It's hard to believe but look at the whole world. analyze it. all this nature and creation and diversity cannot happen by chance. God is omnipotent meaning all powerful all knowing. We are nothing compared to God and our brain capacity is not capable of understanding his greatness. It's mostly about faith. Much faith is believing. i remember a joke that said, if you can't see it, then it doesn't exist, so therefore God doesn't exist said the teacher. so the little girl said oh then you don't have a brain because i can't see it... You know its there even if you can't see it and that's how faith works

That is because you, me or nobody else can possible imagine what or who God actually is. If you think God is some old man with white hair and a white beard setting on a gold leather throne you are wrong. Once you realize God is beyond your comprehension then you can understand that it is possible for God to control 1,282,337,334,243 people all at once.
