question one:
http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index?qid=20070530194546AAFOB7s&r=w
so the general consensus is "homosexuality is a sin just because"
but other than that, people claim its because our purpose is to reproduce, and apperently, people who do not reproduce ARE DISGUSTING ABOMINATIONS, SO my second question(s) is:
do couples who do not want to have kids go to hell?
sterile couples?
straight people who just never find that special person?

So really a whole lot of people are friggin stupid. Homosexuality is a form of population control. It has been observed in 1500 animal species and the known facts are it is in fact population control.
If you want to know more google "1500 animal species"

Answer one, (for both questions).
Our existence is not merely to reproduce. That is a choice we must make. As the Bible's command was to go and fill the earth(with offspring) as told to Adam, that command is fulfilled. The earth is full of people. So therefore, logic dictates that the requirement to procreate has been completed. Therein, it is ridiculous to try and say that deciding not to have children is anything like the decision to pursue the practice of homosexuality.
Now how do we kknow that gays aren't born that way?
Hmmmm. Let us think about it. If all gays were born gay, there would not be a sinlge occurance of a person who WAS at one time a practicing homo, would there?
You can not succeed in the pursuit to bring about mass acceptance for the gay lifestyle choice.
Just remember, if being gay is not a choice, then neither is being a pedophile. (Follow the logic of the pro-gay agenda).

First, since I revel in my uniqueness, let me just state for the record that I differ with the general consensus. None of us should be attributing sinfulness to any others among us. Attempting to do God's job, now, THAT'S a sin.
If there is a hell, or a state of not being with God, then I don't believe that being there is predicated on whether or not one is able to have children. Otherwise those folks who are proposing John Paul for beatification are sure in for a rude shock at some point (although I'm sure there are number of Catholic priests there already so at least he'd feel at home....but I digress.....)
I believe that being in the presence of God has to do with how we choose to live our lives, how we revere one another and treat our environment, how we care for those who have not been blessed as we have been, and how we continue a relationship with God through our lives. I think that if any of us make it to heaven, we may be quite surprised when we look around and see who else is there with us.

Phew! For a 2d there i assumed you had theory up 2 questions that pertained to both homosexuality AND curly fries. i become going to digital mail your different contacts about an intervention. a million. i'm a touch uncomfortable at the same time as everyone makes use of those words. a lot less so at the same time as they arrive from homosexuals, via the undeniable fact that's a lot less demanding to imagine that they don't intend them to be derogatory, yet nevertheless. 2. Nope. the following is the giveaway: onion earrings are earrings. Curly fries are curls. search for infinity. in case you do not see it, this is probably a curly fry.

Bronze, I guess I was not clear in my last post. I hope I do better this time, though you will not like this any better.
I did not say homosexuality is a sin just because. God says what is sin and what is not. Homosexuality is deviant, but it is no worse a sin than any other. God did not create levels in hell for each type of sin.
While God did create and call us to reproduce, if able, but he did not stop there. Sex is for fun and recreation for married couples. It brings the two together in a special way. Reading Song of Solomon will show you this side of it.
Finally, asking why God says something a sin is a moot point. He made the world and it is his rules. Think of it this way God made man. Man was lonely. God made man a help mate. When man finds companionship with anything else save woman it is like thumbing your nose at God. Who are you to say what God made was not good?

You accounted for sterile couples and straight people who jsut never find that special person.
Are you saying that couples who chose not to have children will go to hell, along with the gay people? Because these people are actively opposing the will of God?
Oh oh ..

Let me answer your question regarding couples first. God does not condemn couples who do not have or want kids to Hell. Not having kids is not a transgression of God's law, which is what sin is (1 John 3:4-9). Homosexuality, however, goes against God's natural order. Genesis 1:27 tells us that God created man in his own image (not physical image because God is a spirit (John 4:24), but spiritual image. Male and female he created them. When God created Woman for Adam, it was stated, "Therefore shall a man leave his father and his mother, and shall cleave unto his wife: and they shall be one flesh (Genesis 2:24; Mark 10:6-9). Homosexuality introduces something different, something unauthorized, something that goes against God's plan for procreation. Two men cannot produce a baby. Neither can two women. It goes against the natural order. God condemns homosexuality. Bear in mind what happened to Sodom (from which comes the word "Sodomy") and Gomorrah. God wiped them from the face of the earth because of their sin. When God gave the Old Law to the Children of Israel through Moses, he was very specific in condemning homosexual acts (Leviticus 18:23; 20:13). Even the New Testament condemns homosexuality, catagorizing it with numerous other sins that will cause one to not inherit the Kingdom of God (1 Corinthians 6:9-10). It is now considered "politically correct" to be tolerant of homosexuality, but God is not tolerant of such acts. All who commit such atrocities will have their day of reckoning, along with everyone else who commit sin willfully. Remember, those who lobby and put these laws on the books, and those who eventually pass them, will not be the ones pronouncing judgment on Judgment Day. God is. Hopefully this was helpful to you.

Homosexuality is a sin because God says it is... not just because of reproduction. There are a lot of good Christian women who are unable to produce biological children of their own, but they are NOT abominations. And there are a lot of straight people who love God but just haven't yet found their soul mate. Then, there are those who are straight but will probably never get married, and never have children. They also are NOT abominations.
People who are homosexual know deep down in their heart that what they are doing is not natural, and goes against God's intentions for them. That's why most of them are so miserable and unhappy and defensive of their lifestyles.
But, God loves them the same as He loves everybody else in this world. He created all of us and He loves us just the same. If He says something is wrong, He says it because He loves us and wants us to have the best.

1st answer; They don't actually go to hell right away they actually have a choice just like all of us do in life,an just because they do whatever wrong there doing doesn't mean they can't have any kid's,it just mean's that they have to be more pationed in life to get what they want n if they don't then they go down hill from there...2d answer; If u plane ur dream girl or guy he/she won't be like u imagined or the way u want him/her to be in real life,So this is what I'm going to tell u like other's before u."Don't plane ur special someone cuz if u do u'll find out the hard way which mean's ur trying to hard".Just let it flow don't worry about ur dream girl or guy,he or she will find u instead of u finding him or her"...
