They all grow up at about the same rate, and all of them will be good with a small dog as long as you train and socialize it properly... I have known GSD, Dobes, Rotts and Apbts that all lived with and were great with small dogs... it just depends on how they are raised. Keep in mind any big dog can accidentally hurt a small dog in a regular skirmish that would not hurt a large dog. Its funny my friends parents breed Shih-Tzu's and they have a Sheltie. My friend has 3 big dogs, a mutt with GSD/Husky/?? a Newfoundland dog, and a Pit bull breed/Chesapeake bay retriever the Shih-Tzus are the ones who boss around and beat up all the big dogs which is hilarious to see... all the dogs get along because they are well brought up and arent aggressive because they have been socialized. Before that they had a Rottie who was also good with little dogs and kittens and even had a phantom pregnancy and nursed baby orphan kittens which was really cute.

All of those large breeds take a year or more to grow up. They mature slowly. And all of them have the potential to be nice with a small dog, though I'd be cautious with the Pit. My Rotties have always been wonderful with my tiny dogs, but they have been raised to be gentle and careful. It's all how they are raised and trained. Keep in mind any big dog can accidentally hurt a little dog without meaning too.

These are all large breeds. Larger breeds generally take longer to fully mature than smaller breeds, up to 2 1/2 years.
Boxers and Pits are the most likely of the group to express puppy like behavior for longest, though, due to their personalities.

I would think that the Boxer would be the best when i comes to getting along with the small dog. but i have no idea what one would grow up faster.

all these dogs will grow at pretty much the same rate, the smaller the dog , the faster they grow to adulthood, as long as you socailize the dog you choose at a young age with other dogs they will do fine no matter what breed you get. bigger dogs are pretty much full grown by the time they are 2, smaller dogs by the time they are 1.

I have a Pitt Bull 3yrs.old. when he was 2, I got a chihuahua and the bull took right to it. To this day he still lays on the floor and baths her like he is her mother.
